On tap, Top Hops Beer Shop, NYC, 11.5.16. Clear gold. Orange and a little bit of malt in the nose and mouth exploding of blood orange. Quite bitter and as citrusy as it gets. Medium-to-full body, citrus-blood orange finish.

Bottle at the table paired with the second course of the banquet at HomeBrewCon. Huge citrus form the fruit and the hops, firm bitterness light bready maltiness. Different but pretty good.

On tap at Rattle N Hum West. Amber colour. Nice fresh hoppy IPA, citrus, a small amount of pine. Orange a background hint rather than at the forefront. Drinks nicely. I preferred the citrus flavours of the Neon Gypsy but that may be a matter of personal taste.

3.3
Jow (4119) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAY 28, 2016
Orange gold pour. Nose is blood orange and some caramel. Tastes of the blood orange, caramel, earthy, pine needles. Bitter slight sweet fruit finish from the orange. Weak palate.

Not bad. Blood orange is subtle and not overbearing. Above average but just slightly.

Bottle in Chevy Chase. Hazy golden body with slight head. Nose is hoppy. Taste of hops, fruits and nicely balanced. Nice bitter finish.

2.4
FROTHINGSLOSH (8164) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 14, 2015
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy bright orange color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was tangy with sour caramel, tobacco and a hint of citrus. The flavor was bitter, tart and astringent with perfume and citrus notes. There was a touch of tobacco and sour caramel underneath. Very long finish. medium body. Not good.

4.3
thehinge (297) - Nederland, Colorado, USA - SEP 29, 2015
Orange pour, as promised. Off white head that lingers for a good while. Lots of lemon and resiny taste on the front end. Good bitter aftertaste. Everything I’d hope for from an American IPA.

Freshness meets IPA. Borderline intense fruity flavor. Tangy aftertaste. At 6% all around decent brew.
