COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The winner of Baltimore Magazines Best Beer in Baltimore 1998. Wed like to thank the smooth, roasted malt flavor. The mild hop presence. The little people.

Decent red ale that is very drinkable. Little roast flavor and a light hop palate. Not too much to it.

Bottle. Easy to drink during games of cornhole. Reddish malts, spice, bread and toffee notes. Very minimal hop bite.

Boring beer. Aroma and flavor were pretty bland. Very light caramel malt smells and flavors with artificial brown sugar (if that makes sense) finish. Good carbonation but this is probably the worst beer Ive had from them.

Pours a dark amber with an overly energetic, pillowy head which lingers.......aroma is rust, caramel, touch of malt......taste is a bit hollow, bitter malt tones, soggy grain, thin, dropping off quickly in the end, yet feeling a it less thin at the very back end.

This beer left me bewildered. I dont get it. Theres nothing distinguishing about this beer. I cant give it less than a solid three, but it aint worth more than that.

Tap at Duclaw at BWI. Ruddy brown, offwhite lace. Fruity roast, medium light sparkly mouthfeel, crisp grassy finish. Pleasant and fresh, not that engaging.

The blonde was better than this but they are pretty similar besides the color. Pours maroon with OK head. Light crisp barley finish. Easy drinking. Tap at BWI brewpub.
