Pours clear amber, no head. Smells light and sweet. Tastes almost like apple and pear with some cinnamon, but more cider-like than beer-like. Distinct maltiness at the end. Clean finish. climberbob (457) - Virginia, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Aromas of caramel, resin, spruce, vanilla, raisin. Pours dark amber with little head and low carbonation. Medium, sweet tasting beer with a hint of cardamon but too much chamomile and a slightly unpleasant and flat aftertaste. obguthr (6295) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Cinnamon, clove, cherry, and malt nose. Clear copper, thin head. Soft mouthfeel. Light allspice flavor, neutral malt. Alcohol not terribly noticeable. Strange but in a good way.

12oz bottle. Pour is golden color with little head that faded fast. Aroma is much like a pumpkin ale with notes of nutmeg and cinnamon. Mouth has a mild, but nice, hop opening and all the spice flooding the palette all the to the finish. The flavor sticks around for a bit between each sip. No lacing at all. Overall, I like it. It’s definitely something I can drink. Braudog (6670) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUL 16, 2012
Bottle. Bright orange-amber and still, yet producing a brief but nice head. The aroma is interestingly complex ... And almost breakfasty, with a cinnamon and nutmeg thing. It drinks with the same aspects. This would go well with an airport Cinnabon. (#4699, 7/16/2012)

Pours a caramel color. Smell is a bit spicy. Taste is spices, ginger and cardamon, a touch of fruit. Overall a unique beer. gizmo_ber (190) - Steinwenden, GERMANY - JUL 7, 2012
Dark amber pour, strong spicy aroma with hard hitting taste, but smooth finish. Very interesting, but not sure I really like it. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 4, 2012
12 oz bottle. deep orange pour with a small white head. mixed aromas with floral hops, candi sugar and spices. med body with cardamon, very sweet mats and citrus notes. too carbonated throughout. sweet finish with dark fruit notes and citrus notes. Clear amber pour wth faint offwhite head ring. Delicious cinnamon and clove nose and nutmeg. Flavor is like a weird apple pie with sweet potato twist. I just don’t care for this overall, but the aroma is fantastic. TheBeerGod (6207) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Bottle. Label shows 5% ABV. Copper pour with a short, fizzy white head. Aroma is flowery with soft spice, candi sugar and fruit notes. Big chamomile aromas to this. Taste is chamomile, soft spice, yeast notes, dried fruit, candi sugar, flowers and sweet malt. Mysterium comes across somewhat soft on the palate with a strong, bubbly carbonation. Feels almost over-carbonated at times. Ends with more chamomile, soft spice, sweet malt, candi sugar and dried fruit.
