Thin, white head. Nice carbonation, bready, yeasty taste. Not too much going on here. Inoffensive at worst.
Deep Amber brownish orang with rimmimg beige head
Aroma is spicy herbal notes of peppermint
Flava is... different. herbal notes upfront then grain blended with lavender or rosemary for something like that
Feels medium chewy with nice moderate fizz
Finishes dry with bitterness blended with herb/spice
Deep complex beer that Made me really think..:] fischersfriend (22) - Statesville, North Carolina, USA - MAY 23, 2017
Don’t let the label scare you. Pretty good refreshing beer. Yes it’s different. Taste profile includes apricot, floral, and licorice. Maybe a bit grassy and peppery. Decent offering worth a try and an ocassional revisit tillmac62 (727) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - APR 10, 2017
BOD 12/23/16. Clear copper pour with a heavy dash of amber. Below average head volume. Poor retention and no lacing.
Outstanding nose with a burst of cardamom over a sweet base with hints of chamomile. The Belgian yeast contribute a blended substrate of banana, light phenolic clove and a touch of pear/apple.
Medium body that is smooth and has hints of creaminess at the finish. The carbonation / body balance is outstanding. The middle subtly provides just enough effervescence to open the flavors up. The finish is more powerful and delivers a nice prickly burst to close the show.
The flavor profile is quite good. It delivers with the cardamom spice but is a bit too intense, hence balance is out of kilter a bit. Dial the cardamom back slightly and this one can become outstanding. It begins with a light chamomile touch that cardamom quickly overtakes. The sweetness of the nose never really materializes and consequently the contrast to allow the pear and apple notes to appear fails to occur. Roughly three quarters through, phenolic clove is evident. Clove and cardamom linger after the finish with clove being the last man standing.

Kroger bottle. Pours gold with a soft white head. Aroma is somewhat pleasant: fruit, perhaps plum, light grass, light gum. Flavor is meh. Up front is sweet fruit, followed by dry grass, and an herbal dough finish. tia (2131) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - MAR 22, 2017
Tap at jack Browns. Dark golden with thin head. Smells grainy, sweet, and fruity. Flavor follows.

On tap at POUR. Light sweet with lemongrass and grassy herbs. Medium golden clear with thin white head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Moderate sweet herbal start, watery honey sweetness, and citrus rind. Mild bitter finish with dry herbal after. DialSquare (4973) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 17, 2017
12oz bottle from god knows where: gold pour, off-white head. aroma of minty, herbal, big ginger. tastes are even ginger, citrus, spice. little earthy, floral. Kleg (225) - The Beach, Florida, USA - FEB 10, 2017
Mostly clear dark gold color with a white head and decent retention. Light lacing. Taste is a mottled mix of spices. I taste the cinnamon but it gets lost with other flavors. Meh.It tastes similar to a pumpkin beer without the pumpkin and in this case that’s not a good thing.

Eh, i didnt care for this beer at all. Too much spice that wasnt subtle at all. The Chamomile is a total turnoff. FROTHINGSLOSH (7670) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 11, 2013
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-apricot color with an enormous fluffy orange-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tart citrus, perfume, chalk, Sweettart candies, chamomile and cardamom. The flavor was tart and very perfumey with notes of chamomile, cardamom and chalk. Long finish of perfume, chamomile and cardamom. Medium body. Odd.
