Bottle. Barrel 12 of 15. Thanks Kerry. Aroma of massive vanilla and coconut. Pours jet black thick, with thin tan head. Taste is tons of vanilla and oak lingering chocolate and booze. Man this is fantastic. stevoj (5425) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 12, 2015
Initially comes off a bit thin, but aroma and taste more than make up for it. Lots of vanilla, molasses, wood accents, slightly smoky. Slippery mouth feel, after burn halfway down the gullet. ksurkin (1021) - Norfolk, Virginia, USA - DEC 16, 2011
22oz bottle, barrel #20/20, from grape & gourmet. pours a deep, dark brown with ruby highlights that sits black in the glass and is topped by a thick, creamy mocha head that has solid retention and leaves sticky rings of lace. aroma is great with big notes of rich oak, bourbon, vanilla, and toasted malts with dark chocolate, graham crackers, espresso, and toffee backed by subtle notes of licorice, raisin bread, and tobacco as it warms. flavor is absolutely oustanding with rich dark chocolate, sweet toffee, mocha espresso, and cinnamon buns up front backed by rich bourbon, vanilla icing, charred oak, and dark fruits with hints of coconut, toasted pecans, and brown sugar on the back end. palate is rich and full bodied with smooth carbonation and a long, lingering, semi-sweet, bourbon and toasted wood finish. overall, an excellent barrel aged imperial stout and the best beer i’ve had from DuClaw. actually, kinda surprised at the low ratings but maybe there is quite a bit of variation between the barrels but #20 is wonderful. egajdzis (6692) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Opaque black with a small, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, smoke, vanilla, bourbon, and light alcohol. Taste of vanilla, roasted malt, some char, bourbon, and resiny alcohol. RB1 (118) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - MAY 29, 2012

Wowsers. This doll is soft, dark brown in appearance, with a medium brown colored head. Its aroma is smooth, of light bourbon, and tastes aged, mellow, and classy. The flavor is of moderate roast and moderately strong alcohol, but of bold bourbon that’s lightly woody and smooth. There’s a flavor of fresh wort in the finish, rounding off well with the dominating bourbon. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 29, 2013
Bomber, Bottled on 9/19/11, Barrel #4 of 20. Poured thick, inky black with not much head sticking around. The aroma picked up a decadent blend of sweet bourbon, vanilla, molasses, and chocolates, with accents of rye and coffee.. great! The flavor held serve.. syrupy, darker chocolates, molasses, vanilla, and bourbon at the core, with peppery alcohol and sticky bourbon barrel around.. finished sweet and thick, with barrel well-balanced against the base beer. Heavier-bodied with low carbonation on the palate.. smooth and creamy feel.. held the alcohol in check very well. Awesome! BeerdedDave (1853) - Beckley, USA - APR 18, 2014
black with very thin head; bourbon, roasted malt aroma; smooth, roasted malt flavor with notes of bourbon, oak, and espresso; smooth and pretty easy drinking for an 11.5% abv beer jde123 (775) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - DEC 13, 2014
This is a really great beer. Pours rich and dark, minimal head, slightly strong, sweet aroma. Can really taste the bourbon barrel in this one. njager246 (697) - grand rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 24, 2014
A nice bourbon, chocolate, and roasted nose. Tons of chocolate and bourbon on the flavor, some coffee too! So good!
