Bottle to pilsner glaas.
Cloudy yellow-orange. Small head. Aroma is nondescript, touch of something a little fruity.
Taste is pine, ash.

Golden pour with a white two finger head lots of lace. Mild hops for a double. Very drinkable and definitely do not taste the 9% alcohol. Good for a hot day to quench your ipa pallet. pras (602) - Maryland, USA - MAY 14, 2015
Citrusy aroma, flavor much of the same. Not very well balanced as the alcohol really came through. fooj (63) - Maryland, USA - MAY 6, 2015
A pretty good beer. A translucent copper/brown color with minimal head. The aroma is slightly hoppy, slightly fruity with a whiff of alcohol. Up front hoppy taste.

on tap. Dark yellow in color with off-white head. Mostly citrusy hoppy aroma. Medium bodied with creamy texture. Moderately bitter with grassy and floral hoppy flavor notes. Not as intense as I expected.

Some citrus and tangerine on the head of this. OK malt backbone, and balance is decent. Good if nothing super original. Tap at BWI brewpub. BroadestTom (457) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 23, 2015
Aromabread, bread, floral, citrus, leaves, raisin,
Appearance orange, hazy, white foam,
Taste light sweetness, medium bitterness,
Palate medium body, sticky, average carbonation,
Overall I like that the alcohol is almost nonexistent in this 9% beer so I would suggest this beer to a friend LKay (166) - Maryland, USA - MAR 12, 2015
Hopped aggressively at several stages in the brewing process, yet well-balanced with a malty sweetness. horto008 (188) - Alabama, USA - FEB 26, 2015
Meh. I found this to be on the line between an IPA and an imperial/double IPA. it had *most* of the aroma, body, and taste, but not enough for me to think "damn this is a seriously hoppy beer." If they called it an IPA, i’d have given it higher marks; as an IIPA...well...it’s mediocre. scotchzombie (621) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - FEB 25, 2015
Pours dark brownish orange amber with an average white head that fades fast to a rim. Does not stand out visually. Aroma is pretty great. Sweet, dank resin predominates with some caramel malt and a bit of orange. Quite an active and clean bright mouthfeel and very balanced. Flavors of citrus and caramel; jammy grapefruit bitter sweet pine goodness. Very well-balanced with a solid malt backbone. Really good.
