Gerbeer (3756) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 22, 2016
12 oz bottle. Pours a very dark clear brown with moderate off white head. Aromas of rich dark peanut butter, heavy on the nuts, with some roasted malts hanging around in the background. Flavors of a snickers bar with lots of dry roasted malts. Subtle hops - only in the imagination... A bit in your face and gimmicky - but OK. I certainly would not have more than one at a sitting... johnnnniee (4312) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 18, 2016
Sample at the BJCP reception last week at HomeBrewCon.
Deep brownish black with a decent tan head. Huge chocolatey peanut butter on the nose and flavor. Smooth creamy like a Reese’s Peanut butter cup in a glass. cf1flyboy (1) - - JUN 15, 2016 does not count
Draft is much better than bottle, also age is not good to sweet baby. The fresher the better Deadpool37 (129) - - JUN 14, 2016

Didn’t realize this was a peanut butter brew when I grabbed, I like peanut butter but just in a drink kind of weirds me out. Fne dark brown pour with beige head. Nose is peanut butter and chocolate. Tastes much ofmthe same but touch sweeter. Oily Palate. Finish is buttery peanuts.

Bottle courtesy of McBeer. Completely opaque black body. Thin off white ring. Nice peanut aspect. This beer has been sitting for awhile (at least a year) and it has maintained good carbonation. Excellent. rosskyle (723) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 26, 2016
Served on tap at Max's Taphouse. Dark black brown color with a tan head. Epic roasted peanut butter aroma. Peanut butter chocolate flavor with a slight bitter finish. Heavy smooth body.

Draft at local Buffalo Wild Wings. Pours black with an inch of khaki foam. Big peanut notes on the nose with some solid chocolate notes as well. Huge peanut notes on the tongue as well along with some roasty malt notes. Finished clean. I've not been a big DuClaw fan but this one's pretty good.

Small bottle from Bottle Jockey in Burnaby. A very dark beer with moderate tan head and, yes, peanut butter on the nose. Tastes distinctly of chocolate and peanut, but in a good way. Pleasant, but no complexity here. Slightly astringent finish. 3.7
