Slightly cloudy deep golden colour with small off-white head.
Mild malt, fruity hops and mint in aroma.
Mint, bitter hops and grainy malt in flavour. Very dry. One dimensional.
Bottle... Mostly clear, light orange ale with a large, rocky, white head. Good retention. Fruity, malty nose – melon, lemon peel, black tea and biscuit malt. Medium to full-bodied with jazzy carbonation. Leans a touch bitter, but nicely balanced and citrus fruity. Finishes tangy and lightly bitter. Nice session ale, this one. Bottle courtesy of growler! Bottle:   Pale straw, a bit hazy, slightly dirty, moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Pixie stix like citrusy aroma, a bit candyish, powdery, and dry.   Very faint herbal soily background.   Citrus peel and a faint shrubbiness on the tongue.   Has a slightly earthy hop aspect.   Comes across as a Pale Ale in its softer bitterness.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Pixie stix like powdery sweetness on the finish, a little citrus peel too.   Not bad, a big Pale Ale to me. Bottle. Silky smooth visuals, light yellow-orange color, with a roiling head of white foam. The beer drinks with a slick mouthfeel, pretty much an easy-going drinker. There’s just a tinge of lemongrassy bitterness in the finish. (#4787, 9/23/2012) Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 13, 2013
This one poured a light orange color with a white head. Aroma was straight sorachi hops. Mainly lemon grass and bubble gum. Flavor was similar with spicey yeast notes. Done well, just not a big fan of the hops. obguthr (6443) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JUL 22, 2012
Grass and rice aroma. Crystal clear amber, medium head, good lacing. Light grain, kiwi and lemongrass flavor. Honey finish. Good transitions, very unique. Nice balance for the style. TheBeerGod (6233) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - JUL 14, 2012
