Bomber from Once Upon a Vine. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of caramel malts with herbal, citrus and leafy hops. The taste is citrus and tropical hops with earthy, nutty notes and pale malts. Mdiun bodied, slight lingering bitterness, well balanced. Nice beer. SpringsLicker (3664) - Tennessee, USA - SEP 2, 2012
The medium gold body easily supports a tall, long lasting head of white.
Sweet ripe citrus aroma.
Lightly bitter flavor, a firm dryness moves in quickly and builds into the finish. Not a hop monster, but firmly dry and bitter start to finish.

on tap at Roasthouse Pub as Sorachi Ace IPA. pours a deep golden with a white head. lemon / citrus hop aromas. med body with a lemon / orange bitterness and a light dry soothing carbonation throughout. semi-dry finish with more citrus bitterness and light malts. keepersj12 (3137) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - OCT 28, 2012
Slightly hazy amber with a thin head. The aroma has bread and malt with a bit of lemon. The flavor starts sweet but the hops take over soon after. Lemon and grapefruit and a hint of sweetness. Nice beer. Huhzubendah (3736) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 7, 2012
On draft at DuClaw in Bowie, MD.
The beer is yellow hued with a mild haze, sporting nearly a half inch of pure white head that leaves ample lacing on the glass.
The aroma brings spice, malt, coconut, milk, rice, hops. Interesting.
Sorachi Ace hops emerge in the flavor more than in the aroma. A delicate milky coconut flavor blends well with a mild hop character. Some herbal/tea notes add a touch of intrigue and complexity. Much better than I expected.
Medium bodied with appropriate carbonation. The aftertaste carries a subtle but lingering sweetness with hints of fruit and coconut.
Overall, an interesting and enjoyable brew. I’m glad I branched out and gave it a shot.

Grass and rice aroma. Crystal clear amber, medium head, good lacing. Light grain, kiwi and lemongrass flavor. Honey finish. Good transitions, very unique. Nice balance for the style. bigguns22 (800) - Maryland, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Very refreshing and maybe touch to lite for me but still good. This beer would go well with a white flaky fish. Citrus more on the lemon side are in the aroma and one of the first things u taste. lamas (1651) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 22, 2012
22 oz. bottle. A hazy copper pour with a huge & fluffy khaki head. Oranges, lemons, grapefruits, zesty citrus rinds, grass, and some caramel maltiness dominate the aroma. Relatively thin to medium-bodied. Crisp and effervescent. The taste starts with some lightly sweetened cereal graininess and a touch of caramel. A bit of a biscuity middle. The finish is all bitter, drying hoppiness with lots of grapefruits, some oranges, and plenty of zesty citrus rinds. Fairly spicy and lemony throughout. Tasty stuff. Bottle via stateline.. Pours a copper color orange.. Decent head that faded quickly. Nose of lemon peels. Taste follows the nose. Nice lemon notes with some grass. But kind of one dimensional.... Thin bodied but not watery. Very drinkable/sessionable. Overall: Enjoyed but probably wouldnt buy it again Braudog (6804) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - SEP 23, 2012
Bottle. Silky smooth visuals, light yellow-orange color, with a roiling head of white foam. The beer drinks with a slick mouthfeel, pretty much an easy-going drinker. There’s just a tinge of lemongrassy bitterness in the finish. (#4787, 9/23/2012)
