minutemat (6045) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JAN 14, 2014
75cl bottle as a gift from my French in-laws. Has a mushy overripe apple aroma with concentrated desert apple taste, with a typical Normandy level sweetness and definite caramel notes. Perfectly nice but those caramel elements aren’t for me.

Dermi (1196) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 24, 2013
75 cl, bottled. Pours yellow with some white head. Aroma: Apples. Some spiciness, syrupy, mild cardamom. Taste: Medium+ sweet, some tartness. Palate: Medium body, noticeable carbonation. Dry-sweet apple aftertaste. Not bad.

Bottled (from Alko Prisma, Vaasa). Goldeny pale orangeish colour with a medium head while pouring, but which disappears quite quickly afterwards. Lots of preassure in the bottle, but the cider stayed calm. So, over to the elements of the whole thing, before I forget to rate, drunken me. Aroma is apples, and some ripe apples, and some toffee and sadly that’s about it. The flavour is apples, green and red ones, with both ripe and quite fresh and young ones too. Also there’s a slight resiny touch to it.

As Domaine Duclos Fouqeray Cidre Fermier Du Pays De Bray Tradition. Bottle, bought @ a stop in Normandy. Pours clear orange with a small, fizzy white head. Aroma has sweet apple, light zesty. Medium carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour has mild dryness, sweet apple. A bit ordinary.

lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 13, 2013
750 ml bottle @ HePBF. Pours a bright golden colour with loads of visible bubbles. Aroma of honey, farmyard, grass and herbs. Flavour of pungent green apples, citrus, honey, earthiness and wood. Medium bodied, high carbonation and a lingering tart apple finish. A tad too sweet and rather easy-going.

olio (10547) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 13, 2013
75 cl bottle @ HBF’13.
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Aroma of apples, grass, some earthy notes and hints of honey. Flavor of sweet apples, sugar, mild caramel and hints of honey. A bit too sweet but still quite nice.

laiti (8513) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 13, 2013
75 cl bottle @ HeBF’13
Aroma has ripe and somewhat floury apples. Feels a bit leathery. Also distant gluey notes. Flavour is quite short with slightly sweet apples, sugary notes. Palate is a bit too high on CO2 and feels leathery.

mikkopen (1193) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 3, 2013
750 ml bottle. Clear golden colour, tiny white head. Sweetish-sour apple aroma with earthy and spicy notes. Flavour of sweetish apples, tart and musty notes, vanilla. Quite refreshing.

750 ml bottle. D50 12 03. L13. (Alko) Helsinki, Finland. Clear lively golden colour with a bubbly white head. Earth, subtle sweetness and apple In the aroma. The flavour is apple, some sweetness, mild sourness and something a bit strange. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 75 cl. Pours clear goldencopper in color with a small off-white head. Sparkling all the way. Mashed apples, some wood and vanilla notes in aroma. Lovely, just like taking a walk in an apple orchard. A bit of earthy and funky notes as well. Flavor has some ripe apples, sweet for sure, but not over-the-top sweet fortunately. but dry and musty actually. A bit of tartness is there too. So it is a bit sweet and just bordering to some really musty appleliqour in taste, with those vanilla notes beeing there as well, but yet so tasty and refreshing. This just became my favorite cider.
