On tap at Due South poured a clear tarnished gold with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of caramel, yeast, spice and a hint of fruitiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of caramel, spice, yeast and light fruitiness with a smooth lingering caramel finish. Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - JUL 20, 2013
Draft at the brew pub in Boynton Beach, FL. American style pint glass. Pours a fairly hazy light amber color for a blonde. I thought it was a little dark. medium head that lasted and some decent lacing. Aroma was nice with cloves, bananas, bread, and the notable Belgian yeasts. I found the taste to lack what the nose was getting. All of the aromas were present, but faint, overall. Bread, cloves, yeasts, bananas, coriander, slight lemon. Moderate carbonation, medium mouth. Ends slightly bitter which was odd. hopscotch (11182) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUN 19, 2013
Draft... Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is a phenolic and estery mélange of coriander, clove, spiced pear and smoked meat. Medium to full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. Well-balanced, spicy, fruity and refreshing. Short, crisp, clean finish. I don’t care much for these ales brewed with Belgian, French farmhouse and/or German weizen yeasts. Otherwise, this stuff isn’t half bad.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2015 Tap. Moderate malt aromas of light bread and grain, light lemon and perfume for the hops, light basement for the yeast, with hints of banana and clove. Head is small, creamy, white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is clear medium amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and lightly to moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a carbonation on the softer side of lively. An easy drinking Blonde Ale, like most, with some nice Belgian nuances.
