Poured a deep amberish red color, aromas of citrus hops, light malt and some caramel. Flavors are big and bitter hos, light citrus, with a touch of caramel. Bitter aftertaste, pleasently surprised with this one, a solid beer from a new brewery. smith4498 (3697) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - AUG 18, 2012
Growler from the brewery. Pours clear copper color with off white head. Toasted malt and citrus aromas. Flavors of toasted malt and light citrus with some nuttiness. Medium body with average carbonation. hopscotch (11419) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUL 31, 2012
Draft... Clear copper ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The nose furnishes nutty, praline-like malts and a bunch of bright, citrusy hops. Medium-bodied with vibrant carbonation. Bright, hoppy flavor. Every bit the hop bite that Due South’s Category 3 IPA delivers. Crisp, bitter, abrasive finish with a light kiss caramel that makes a fashionably late appearance.
