(on bottle) We are dealing with a bad homebrew, sold at a perveted prizelevel. I really hate that fact. And worse; I just knew it. Denmark might have been called "the new belgium", but with this standard, it dosen´t matter. This beer is a murky fluid, with big white chucks floating around in it. Discusting. The aroma is of malt, cardboard and canesugars. It´s overcarbonated, sticky and cloying feel, with a burning alcoholpercent the beer can´t carry. And then....nothing; the finish neber apears. This is a pure nightmare to drink and I effin´knew it, so help me God.

Bottled (from Ölkonsortiet, Aalborg). Deep ruby colour with mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is lots of hops, mild alcohol and some hints grass and toffee. Flavour is hops, mild chocolate, slight roasted tones as well as some pineapple and mild toffee. Aftertaste is sweet toffee and quite sweet wooden notes. Mildly burning alcohol, but generally it hides the alchol very well. Dangerously easy to drink.

yngwie (17234) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 25, 2008
Botle. A clear, ruby beer with a finger thick dense beige head. Hoppy, fruity aroma indicating lots of sweetness. Touch of alcohol. Citrus, resin and some vague notes of cooked vegetables and beefstock too. Fizzy and sweet in the mouth, with some warming qualities. Caramel sweetness, beef-stock, a hint of cooked vegetables, some alcohol, pine-cones, fluor notes, some roasted malt and some bitterness in the flavor. Actually, it’s quite low on bitterness, considering all the sweetness. It’s more bitter in the finish, where also the initial flavors chime in. I’m not very impressed with this one, still there’s something about it I like. Had to go and cut me a slice of cheese and some sausage to go with it, that lifted the experience a bit. (080925)

Sample at EBF, Copenhagen. Mahogny color. Malty aroma, lots of sweetness here - carmel, mal, some fruit. Warming alcohol. In lack of bitterness to avoid the cloyingly sweetness.

3.6
tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - SEP 8, 2008
50 cl bottle, shared with Bjørnar and Roger. Brown reddish color, fine beige head. Aroma is very malty and nutty. Flavor is also very malty, with sweet fruit and hops. Bitter finish.
