Trinkbar. 9/8/9/6/12/7

Big white head, fainting slowly. Light nose. Very light hoppy taste, short lasting. A bit oily (thick) compared to how thin it is. Overall ... forgettable.

Sold as, and bought as a gimmick. Guessed it would be like the american watery beers like its meant to be, but found a bit more taste. Very close to Carlsberg in my opinion. OK drinkable beer, but to expensive here in Norway compared to what you get.

08-APR-2011, bottle @Sonni, @Ulklbben meeting, from "Fish & Beer". Hmm. A must try for Simpsons fans. Light pilsener with a slight sweetness. Fine drinkability, Not as edgy as the TV-show.

330ml bottle, 4.7% ABV, from a local Eurospar store. Bright, straw-yellow body. Decent snow white head. Bready malts to the nose. Modest taste of grainy malts with grassy notes. Sweet and dry on the swallow. Possible to drink and alright white our chicken food (shared with Frau Eva, Troms 25.03.2011).

330 ml bottle. Sparkling pale golden colour. Small white fine-laced head. Light soft malty aroma with hints of floral hops. Crisp carbonation and a refreshing floral hops flavour with some light and sweet malt. Bittering hops towards the finish. Decent pilsener, but nothing exciting.

Just had to try this when holding a tasting of US beer (Homer is American, you know?) Pleasant light nose (harmles) A light and very short taste - do i detect a small banana flavour (harmles)? Light oily body, thoug somewhat flat. A very harmelss beer, thoug drikable

Bottle from Ica, Oslo. Clear, pale golden colour. Big, white head with quite good retention. Aroma of slightly sweet malt, straw and hops. Light/medium body, average carbonation. Filling mouthfeel. Mid-taste has a good balance, finishes a bit more metallic/papery with a slightly weird, unfresh sweetness.

An excellent television show is, in no way a good reason to buy a beer and Duff Beer is good example of this. For a few second, this actually looks like a pretty decent pilsner, until the head rapidly succumbs to the force of gravity, immediately shattering any hopes of it being anything more than swill. The nose, however, was not so bad, with a reference to caramel and yeast. Otherwise, there was not much to it, although nothing purely offensive either. The taste was much like the nose, so Id certainly not include this in the swill category. Boring? Yes indeed, but offensive? Certainly not.
