330ml bottle. Pours black with a dissipating brown head. Huge aroma of cocoa with fudge & vanilla. Tastes of sweet rich chocolate, tiramisu, toffee & vanilla. Bittersweet finish. LCI. Poured from the bottle @DeKrommeHaring. OMG, liquid dessert: roasted malt, chocolate, caramel. One awesome stout! Lovely! JackMandarin (403) - Aberdour, SCOTLAND - AUG 6, 2017
Bottle from Bridgend Services, Freuchie. Pours a very dark, murky looking brown. Very little head which is a tan colour. Aroma is rich with demerara sugar. Melted milk chocolate. Tiramisu. Light raisin and date. A little light soy sauce. Light hazlenut. Nice. Taste is sweet with more milk chocolate. A little toasty coconut vibe. Really viscous, chewy mouthfeel. There’s a little tannic red wine. A little earthy, slightly bitter, dark-roast coffee. More dried fruits. A lasting oiliness coats the mouth. Bittersweet finish with a little more of that port/red wine note. Alcohol is present without being overbearing. Mellow carbonation. Tasty treats but I need a little less of that tart, winey tang to truly worship this beer!
