Beer #6 (old rating) of 17 for each day of the 2018 Winter Olympics - One for a Country Participating in the Games: #6 - Sweden
Ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a nice tall, but very fast-dying off-white head. Aroma of tons of tropical fruits - guava, passionfruit, papaya, mangosteen, rambutans and even a touch of jackfruit, all with a mellow but noticeable malt kick and some light citrus, though probably just from the punch of the passionfruit. Light-bodied; Super tart fruit flavours at first that show the tropical fruits and the funky malt before anything else and also so citrus, herbs and grasses along with a dose of light malt and a nice fruity finish. Aftertaste is definitely split up between full fruity flavours, a lot of tart notes and some sweet flavours, still from the fruits, with no real malt or complex notes at all. Overall, a nice very light and incredibly aromatic, tart and mouth-watering profile throughout. Great to sample and would be much better in the Seychelles or in Fiji than in Sweden! Still nice to sample and well worth finding, especially if you like like Fruit Beers or Sours. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bowery), New York on 23-February-2018 for US$4,99, sampled in my hotel room here in New York on 26-February-2018 with the date on the cap as: 18-May-2019, which must be the 'best by' date.

Nice sour punch. Definitly peach and mango present. Maybe a little too much juice falvors for me, almost like it was abrewed as a blend. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 8, 2018
4/2/2016 -- from backlog notes: Very nice, big tropical fruity flavor. Moderate sourness, moderate-plus sweet. On-point. A sour with a huge amount of tropical fruit flavor. Impressive with the level of fruit delivered. Reminds me of Gushers. Nice for a small sample, but probably too sweet for more. Schwarzbart (341) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 8, 2017
A small white creamy head that recedes quickly. Hazy/juicy, orange-gold color with some specs of sediment. No lace. Smells of fruit punch, peach, mango and tropical qualities. Light body, tart and refreshing. Taste is fruit punch, peach, passionfruit, salt, mango and Lacto sour. Love the passion fruit, mango and peach combo. It’s like a true fruit punch.

bottle. Hazy golden with one finger head. Tart, lots of passion fruit, peach and other tropical flavors. Lemon sour. Doesn't really have much in the way of complexity, but this is quite delicious.

Bottle from Merchants. Aroma is very sweet and juicy, peach, mango, passion fruit, slight tart and slight wheat, mostly just a juice bomb. Appearance is golden, hazy, off white head that disappeared quick. Taste is sour, passion fruit, peach, mango, sugary, some wheat, extremely crushable yet puckering. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, tart fruit punch and slight wheat aftertaste. Overall, I was not expecting this level of sour on the taste based on the aroma, but this beer is quite good. voyageurmike (524) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 1, 2017

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 7/7/2019. Pours moderately hazy deep golden yellow/light orange color with a small dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge juicy peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon, lime, green apple, fruit skin, white wine, wheat, cracker, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, tropical fruit, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon, lime, green apple, fruit skin, white wine, wheat, cracker, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness and fruit tang on the finish. lingering notes of juicy peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon, lime, green apple, fruit skin, white wine, wheat, cracker, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, tropical fruit, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/sourness balance, and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tart/sourness and fruit tang. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, moderately grainy/acidic, and tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an amazing fruited sour ale! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, tropical fruit, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly lactic/tangy/drying finish. Perfectly balanced juicy fruits and Lacto complexity; with just enough malts to balance acidity. A highly enjoyable offering. drsandman (1685) - New York, USA - AUG 25, 2017
