Tap at the Junkyard. Pours expresso black with tan halo. Aroma roasted malts some chocolate coffee vanilla notes but not quite as overpowering as feared. Taste is medium bitter to sweet with definite chocolate notes. Palate is fantastic. My best yet full bodied creamy and rich, flat carbonation and a not so much languor that you hesitate to sip again. Alright it's a finale beer but deservedly so Cunningham (8459) - Halden, NORWAY - NOV 28, 2017

Raven black stuff with a beige top. Nice mellow intensity in the aroma. Full body and a smooth carbonation level. Dangerously easy to drink. Well masked alcohol and perfect balanced sweetness. Dark malt, chocolate, roast, coffee and some licorice in a lovely blend.
[Bottle at Ölstugan 1892 Tullen Johanneberg in Gothenburg, Sweden]
(330ml bottle from boxbeers.dk) Pours black with a few short lived pale tan bubbles. Aroma of chocolate bar, dark burnt sugar malts, coffee, nutty roast. Flavour is moderately sweet with notes of dark malt with a sugar cane and dark caramel vibe, coffee, chocolate, moderate liquorice, a bit fruity, some toasted grains, finish has some drying alcohol and light bitterness. Quite full bodied and a touch syrupy with very low carbonation. Big malty beast that holds its own without adjuncts, perhaps I might like a bit more roast to hit another level but it's really good as is. jesperhammer (4949) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2017
