This is a bigger and bolder version of our classic imperial stout Idjit. So, what does that make this beer then? An imperialer (it’s a word) stout? A more imperial stout? Let’s just say it’s big. Big idjit!

Nearly back, small and thick light beige head. Dark caramely and boozy aroma. Coffee and nuts. Similar flavour, a lot of coffee, more nuts. Sweet and pretty boozy.

Bottle @ St. Patrick's Gone Mad, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of coffee and tiramisù, with notes of yeast. Bitter, roasty and coffelike onset with notes of sugar and malt and touches of dust. Sweetish aftertaste with roasty hints. Good.

Bottle, 12%. Coffee and paint thinner. Dark brown colour. Small stable dark brown head. The flavour is quite sweet and has a good coffee note. Does not taste of the paint thinner that it smells of. Sugary, but not too sweet. Thick and sugary mouthfeel, too, of course.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2018 Mörk , väldigt liten skum. Luktar kaffe och choklad. Smaken domineras av kaffe och choklad som omges av en sötma. Höstiga aromer. Relativt låg beska. En aning torr i eftersmaken.

33 cl bottle @ Omnipollo Tap Takeover, Konttori.
Pours black color with a small beige head. Aroma has salmiac, licorice, burnt, tar. Flavor is quite burnt, tar, some salmiac, licorice, chocolate. Okay palate, burnt malty flavor, tar, rubber. Not very pleasant.

Much scent of chocolate malt. Dark malt, some black coffee and cocoa in taste. Much bitterness that fills the mouth forever. Had higher expectations for this beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Hopmaestro (1882) - Örebro, SWEDEN - FEB 26, 2018
Aroma is dense with heavy chocolates and heavily roasted malts. Traces of coffee and licorice. Taste is full on, and is carried by a heavy chocolate roast. Cocoa, coffe and licorice with a well hidden alcohol content. Rich Imperial Stout for grown ups. Great stuff!

tovesa (162) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 24, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 24, 2018 Bottle 330ml at Konttori. Dark brown beer, disappearing beige head. Dark malts, licorice, strong alcohol, weird glueish flavor. Full body, average carbonation.

alkolas510 (1540) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 23, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2018 Kolsvart med litet ljusbrunt skum. Doftar och smakar vanilj, kaffe och choklad. Alkoholen slår igenom lite. Riktigt bra men saknar något

TBone (18934) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 21, 2018
Bottled 330ml (Beergium)
Opaque colour, medium-sized beige creamy head. Toasted nose has cocoa and coffee. Also some fresh wood. Full-bodied, soft palate. Flavour has same elements than nose: toasted maltyness, cocoa, coffee, dark fruits, fresh wood. Hides ABV reasonably well but is warming in the aftertaste. Nicely balanced.
