COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes you get an idea you just can’t shake. You need to see it through. Black Apple is such an idea. A black licorice and apple sour beer. Alluring like an 80’s black light poster. Something different!

Keg at A&H, 05/08/17. Extremely dark mahognay brown with a light beige head. Nose is apple chews, mellow fruit esters, orchard wood, straw, grains. Taste comprises tarte apple, damp hay, light citrus bleed, funk, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for the ABV I guess but rather 1D.

Keg at Anspach & Hobday. Clear deep brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and fairly crisp. Floral apple. Sour apple sweets. Touch of lemony sourness but some contrasting saccharin sweetness. Light dry finish. Simple stuff, but quite good fun.

Whoa, apples are very nice and sour in taste but the surprising hit of licorice and some plastic is not welcome on my part

Bottle from Centrala Piwna. Aroma: Liquorice and apples, sour notes. Appearance: Dark body without any head. Taste: Quite sour, strange combination of liquorice notes and apples, other fruit. Palate: Low body, low carbonation, tart semi-sweet finish.

Butelka. Ciastko jabłkowe z lukrecją. Zapach intensywnie jabłkowy, szarlotka, smażone jabłka, karmel. W smaku jabłka ciutkę mniej przodują. Mocno kwaśne. Lukrecja i przypalony karmel w tle. Jabłka bardziej kojarzą się z takimi świeżymi, zielonymi, niedojrzałymi. Nie zostanę fanem piw w takich cukierkowych formach.

Kran w Muted Horn. Aromat przyjemny, jabłkowy, owocowy, lukrecja. W smaku umiarkowana kwaśność. Mi smakuje.
