Quite a beer; almost closer to an IPA then a pale ale. Had a huge cream-colored fluffy textured head that lasted a long time and lots of lace. Lots of malt and hops in the aroma. Flavor is like aroma plus cereal flavors and bitter and sweet and carbonic tang come out and express themselves. Great body and carbonation. Very drinkable beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very good APA except for a little oxidation. Poured at a good temperature with a large, foamy, cream-colored head that slowly settles and some lace. Color is a clear orange amber with a couple of bubble trails. Aroma is hop, malt, yeast, wet cardboard. Flavor is similar to nose, hop is kind of subdued, but fitting for style and theres a little pine and citrus plus sweet is also mild, bittler dominates, but not overly so, wet cardboard is just there, and carbonic tang is just right. Body n carbonation are perfect. Finish is like flavor, on the long side, and would be so much better, but for the oxidation.

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2009 Draught at Bishops Arms, Avenym, Gteborg, Sweden. Clear deep golden with a small to medium creamy white head. Fresh perfumy and floral hop aroma, with pine needles and tropical fruits, and a solid malt base. Light to medium bodied, velvetly soft, low carbonation. Very well balanced with a long bitter finish. A very good APA/IPA with high aroma-to-abv ratio.

On tap at Bishops Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm. Wonderful, creamy yellowish head on top of the hazy, shining copper beer. Potent grapefruity hop aroma, but hints of apple as well. Great citrus bitterness that lingers and lingers. Solid malty base to support it. Ful-bodied. Worth a celebration.
