Tap @ Den Tatoverede Enke as "Widow’s Delight".
Light brown creamy head on a clear red brown body. Good lacing. Acidic, caramel, dark dried fruits and spicy Belgian yeast on the nose. When in the mouth dried fruits, perfume and caramel aromas are released. Sweet and bitter flavored with an astringent yet thick mouth feel. Medium bodied. Good balance. Tatoverede Enke, København as Dugges Widow’s Delight. Yellow-blond lacing cream head. Clear ruby brown body. Light sour-acidic fruits up front, offset by fine Belgo-yeasty scent, and some toasted caramelly malts. Taste is sour-sweet malty, with rounded roastedness, chocolate, and notes of pepper and dark fruits. Medium body strenght. Fine fruity bitterness linger in the finish. A very nice one.
Draught, 250ml. Served with dark chocolate and to the right drinking temperature downstairs at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Mid, off-white head covering a ruby-brown body. Generously roasted aroma of dark chocolate malts. Fine balanced flavour of milk chocolate and bitter cocoa notes. Ends up with developing bitterness from dry, fruity hops. A characterful, mellow porter. (Thanks to Guri from VG for the treat, 16.09.2008) Ungstrup (38243) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 23, 2008
Draft. A deep red beer with a collapsing brown head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of chocolate, but also hints of butter. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of chocolate and cocoa, but also with a light note of butter, leading to a very bitter and dry cocoa finish. fonefan (50690) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAR 6, 2008

On draught at the brewery.
Transparent brown colour with off-white head. The appearance of a wannabe porter. Salty, licoricy aroma with dried fruits and a faint touch of Belgian yeast. Pretty light bodied at this abv-level, yet malty with a hoppy touch. Dough is present, as is a tad sourness. Salty all the way, until more salt sets in. A weird beer.
