On tap. It’s a clear, dark brown beer with a small, beige head. Slightly roasted nose with a little licorice and nice hops. Hoppy, slightly chocolaty flavor, roasted and citrusy with hints of licorice. Full-bodied and sweet. Long hopped finish with a nice bitterness. A rather lovely brown ale, not to big, and quite tasteful. (090529) Scauca (490) - Lovere, ITALY - APR 29, 2009
Tap @ the brewery. The name says it all. Brownish ale with a lasting white. Just a bit of roasted & caramel in the nose, with a disturbing green note, as well as a yeasty one. The same for the flavour. Jonte (1496) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - MAR 15, 2009
