On tap @ Tre Sm Rum, Gothenburg. Pours a deep amber body with a big white head. Aroma is floral grassy hops, peaches, hints of pale malts, honey and fresh grass. Taste is fresh grass, caramel malts, hints of peaches, parsley, lemon grass and cat pee. Smooth and nice mouthfeel. A pleasant IPA, though quite mild and not very bitter.

I dont know, it seems like the Dugges beers have a similar flavor profile that Im just not that into. Poured this one at a good temperature with an average size, cream-colored, foamy head that soon settles to a light cover and some lace. Color is a clear orange amber with a few bubble trails. Aroma is caramel, malt, hop, wet carboard. Flavors similar to nose, sweet, wet cardboard on top with the bitter and some carbonic tang below and after along with some medicinal and woody flavors. Body and carbonation might be good, but theres a lingering heavy sweetness that distracts. Finish is like flavor, too sweet, long and not that pleasant. Ill finish this beer and thats it. Too bad; nice label, for what thats worth.

Bottle. 1 pint .9 oz. from Natures Way Market, South Berwick for $7.59. Beautiful hazy amber color. Real thin white head that still showed some retention. High carbonation died down after several minutes. Had to hit a warmer temperature until I could get a mixture of sweet malt and pine hops in the nose. Underwhelming nose aside, the taste is still good. Lots of Earthy hops. Pine, whole cone like bitterness. Caramel blended with the herbs and hops. Very abrupt short finish. Its decent but nothing to really search for.

Pours a deep rich amber copper color with a half finger head that laces out quickly. Aromas are not substantial but nice fresh whiffs of ripe tropical fruit and hints of earthy pine. On the palate there is a good balance between ripe fruity favors and earthy bitterness. Nice IPA with a easy mellow finish.

Whole Foods, P st, DC 500ml ($5): Pours a bronze colour with a slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel malt, with some earthy hops and some citrus hops. Taste is slightly bitter. Plenty of malty sweetness. Not an American IPA at all, which is a refreshing change. Leaves some hoppy aftertaste. Good body. This might be a bit past its prime, but the hop character is still very much intact.

50cl bottle. Medium off-white head atop clear light amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange/grapefruit, some lemon. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some earthy, light bread, orange. Medium body, light resin.

Hazy deep amber and copper coloured body with a thinnish, half a centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of fresh bitter, resiny hops, some metal, caramel and a good deep malty note. Medium-bodied; Earthy, pungent malt bite with a good dose of fresh hops up front that fade to spicy sweetness at the back end. Aftertaste shows more earth and alcohol than anything else, with a touch of sweetness and the grassy, resiny hops at the very end. Overall, a nice, rather earthy and less Americanised IPA, but still good to try. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Olivers Beverage in Albany, New York on 18-November-2011 for US$7.99 sampled at home in Washington on 10-April-2012.

SpringsLicker (3561) - Tennessee, USA - FEB 8, 2012
Pours clear deep gold with a tall, sticky off-white head. Spicy, floral, citrus hop aroma. Very pleasant. The flavor is lightly bitter with an overpowering sweetness. A bit thin. Too sweet for an IPA.

Bottle. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus and sweet malt aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy complex bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. This beer exceeded my expectations.

3-4 ounce sample from a bottle at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Medicinal, metallic light hop aroma. Stale hops present. Not much else happening in the nose. A bit disappointing. Mildly hazy honey-colored body with a small off-white head present. Starts with some light citrus orange flavors before this becomes sweet, sugar, and mostly cloying. Minute bitterness late. Way too sweet and sugary. Not really hoppy. This is an IPA? A joke.
