VictorStr (1740) - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - MAR 1, 2013
Karismatisk smak och aroma. Hade uppskattat lite mer "smack in da face" egenskaper. Annars en propåer och välbalanserad IPA

Cunningham (8375) - Halden, NORWAY - MAR 1, 2013

Appearance: Light hazy golden color with a white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Deep malty, hoppy and a bit fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a fine bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Rich caramel malt, fruity and rich hoppy.
Overall impression: A bit to much over to the sweet malty side. Otherwise a fine IPA.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with rlgk.

Bottle at Lincoln Wine Bar. A very clear yellow. Hoppy nose. A bit of dustiness in the nose and flavor. Full-bodied with a base of caramel malts, some fruityness and a bitter finish. Unique beer.

500 ml bottle poured a clear orange amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, candied orange, pink grapefruit and light earthiness with a crisp dry moderatly bitter lingering candied orange finish.

Todella hieno haju. Maku on havuisempi (neulasia ja pihkaa) ja hedelmä on kaukana taustalla. Lievää karamelliakin löytyy, ja hennosti olkeakin. Suutuntuma on tasaisen täyteläinen ja katkera, tottakai. Yleisilme on kuivahko.

Aroma: The smell is expected citric, grape-fruit, but also pine resin and needles.
Appearance: The beer is clear orange, has an off-white head that leaves good lacing.
Taste: The taste has balanced sweet initial notes, toffee and raisins besides the expected grape-fruit juice. Finish with bitter pine resin notes.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, a fresh texture, rather thin body, a dry feeling.
Overall: On the first review (110420) this beer was a bit off, with sour notes that was not found on this re-review.
Note: On-tap at De Klomp. Reviewed 2011-08-06.

Pyrmir (6210) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - DEC 5, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 16, 2014 330 ml bottle. Aroma hoppy as hell, with flowery notes dominating. Also caramel and grassy/citrusy hops behind all the flowers. Taste: grapefruit, citrus, flowers; hop flavor dominates. Caramel sweetness exists but is hidden in the hops. Rough aftertaste bitterness.

Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 15, 2012
In short: A malty caramelized fruity IPA. Decent nourishing IPA
How: Tap somewhere in Göteborg Sweden, probably at Ölrepubliken
The look: Almost clear orange-amber body topped by a small off-white head
In long: Nose is lightly hoppy and somewhat malty, the hop signature that is fruity-resinous. Not a very aromatic beer, less intense nose than most modern IPAs. Taste has a lot of caramelized malts, cookies, some butterscotch, fruity hops, hops resin. Resinous astringent bitterness. Not a hop bomb, if anything the balance might even be tilting toward the malts. It felt kind of weird when someone gave me a High-Five in this Swedish bar in exchange for money, where I come from people give you a high-five in bars after you kick a midget.
