Deep copper in color with strong lacy off-white head. A different IPA...sweet bread arom with citrus pineapple notes. Mild sweetness, nice malty body with decent hop balance. humlelala (1375) - DENMARK - JAN 20, 2012
(50 cl bottle from Bunker Beer; BBD: February 2012) Pours a clear copper with rich white head. Good lace and retention. Aroma is somewhat dark spruce and malt. Oily texture, medium carbonation, full-bodied with a long and lightly bitter finish. Taste is malty sweet at first followed by a subdued bitterness. I’d be more inclined to call this an amber ale than an IPA but perhaps it tastes different when fresh. _angst_ (4810) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 4, 2011
500 ml bottle gifted by friend and consumed on December 4. Pours deep hazy amber with a small grayish white head that dissipates quickly. Smell is malty sweet and hoppy with peaches pine, prunes, banana and alcohol. Taste is very malty and sweet with oily pine, orange zest, sweet fruits and some caramel. Finish is dry and bitter with orange zest. visionthing (5496) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 12, 2011
Bottle. Pours dark amber with a minimal head. Pretty sweet without enough hops to balance it. Hoppy sweet aroma with a hint of bitterness in the end. Cunningham (8282) - Halden, NORWAY - NOV 1, 2011
UPDATED: FEB 15, 2012 På flaske fra systembolaget. Tykk uklar farge som det dufter mye av. Massevis av humle i aromaen. Veldig besk smak, med en underlig ettersmak. Whisky smak? Ikke så veldig godt gjemt alkohol smak.

[9/22/11] Mahleket Hanikot Shotrim ’11 tour. Bottle in some bar in Malmo. Clear amber color with a medium beige head. Great citrusy hoppy aroma. Bitter hoppy flavor with grapefruit, pine and a bit of slightly cookie-ish sweetish malt in the background. Medium-bodied. A really good IPA. Bottle 50cl (from Jun-10). An unclear amber colour with an average high beige head. An aroma of malt, hops, caramel and citrus. The taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. A medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation and bitter hoppy finish. DutchDrebus (6136) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - SEP 13, 2011
Thanks benzai for sharing this one.
Amberish colour. Smells honey, bit sweet. Tastes bitter, hoppy, and citrussy - but not enough for me. Okay carbo, sticky.

Lätt doft av whiskey, mycket grape och den där lite blöta känslan som färsk humle kan ge. Mycket amerikansk humle och rejäl beska. Riktigt fin.
