COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Amber color. Very nice aroma of hops, green hops, quite grassy. Excellent malty flavor, good body structure, mellow; caramel; very good hopping (aromatic and very long final); some resins. Excellent hoppy brew.

Stark CO2 haltiger Hopfenantrunk, deutlich hefig-malzig. Test vom 3.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,9,10,11,11,10 - 10,15

<!-- i -->[email protected] Rover.<!-- /i --><!-- br --> Brown color, nice creamy tan head. Honeyish flowery hoppy aroma. Sweetish, even toffeish flavor, Also flowery hoppy. Aftertaste is hoppy. Someway sweet and average bodied for IPA. Second try @brewery, directly from tank. Not sweet like in the Rover.

UPDATED: FEB 28, 2009 On tap at The Rover, Gothenburg. Clear, copper color and a beige head leaving nice lacings. Hops and sweet malt in the aroma and flavor. The flavor has some beefstock notes as well. Full to medium body and a long, bitter finish. Rating: 6-3-6-3-13-3.1. (060824)

Bottle. An almost clear, copper beer with an off-white to beige head. Malty nose with fluorine-like hops and a slight touch of sourness. Sweet on the palate, medium- to full-bodied, with piney and fluorine-like hops. Fine bitterness in the finish. I’ve had it in my cellar too long, it lacks the freshness I’ve tasted before, but it’s a nice and easy drinkable beer with quenching qualities. Rating: 6-3-6-3-13-3.1. (090116)

From tank at the brewery. Clear, copper-colored beer with a creamy beige head. Pine, american hops, fruits and resin in the aroma. The flavor has pine, hops, fruits and some caramel notes. Full-bodied, with a long hoppy finish. A nice one from Dugges, but it felt better fresh from the tank than from tap at a bar. (060825)

50cl bottle. Pours dark amber with a orange hew & a fine lasting creamy stable head. Aroma & taste is of malts, caramel, bread, citrus, flowers & grapefruit. Crisp & a fine bitter end. Medium bodied. Very drinkable & well made IPA!

Bottle, KØ11. Cloudy amber/brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is a little spicy, perhaps from the hops. Some nice maltiness, a little spicy also, like some rye beers.

Benzai (15611) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 14, 2011
Thanks to Tkrjukoff for this bottle! Clear light amber / dark orange color, almost no head. Smell is a bit weak and soft for an IPA. Taste as well, bit weak and soft. Soft carbonation, low to medium body.
