(Draught, Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep) Colour is black with a creamy, firm beige head. Roasted nose with notes of wild berries (blueberries, crowberries) and lots of grassy hops. Taste is roasted, hoppy with loads of dark, bitter coffee and chocolate. Mainly dry. Medium body. Very tasty, regarding the fairly low abv. Quite brilliant, actually.

[On draught. Stockholm Beer Festival] Very dark brown colour, capuccino coloured head-looks pretty yummy. Aroma from American hops, along with coffee. Vegetables was not sensed. Light bodied naturally, bit phenolic with a deep coffee-capuccino-chocolatey flavour. Slighly bitter malty in the finish. In my opinion, a solid, tasty beer.

Pours dark brown, tan head. Roastes malts and coffee in aroma, with some notes of cocoa. Slight hoppy flavour with good bitterness and roastyness. Somewhat chocolatey.

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 2, 2006
([email protected], Helsinki) Very dark reddish brown with a medium, creamy and foamy, lacy head. Slightly sweetish, roasted-malty aroma with licorice. Licoricey, slightly burned, but mostly roasted-malty flavor. Nothing spectacular, but a fine, enjoyable and pleasantly low-abv stout, without excess color malt. Nice!

fiulijn (20491) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 9, 2006
Draught at Bishop’s Arms
Black color; creamy head. Nice and delicate aroma of roasted malt, with Digestive cookies and light hops. Medium-light body, the flavor is basically from the roasted malt, with a touch of acidity deriving. The final is bitter with too much burnt sugar. Not bad, but too monodimensional for me.

3.5
anders37 (26605) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 17, 2006
Draught @ Bishop’s Arms, Malmö. Pours a black colour with a tan head. Roasted malty coffee aroma, with some hoppy hints. Sweet roasted malty flavor with hints of coffee, chocolate and hops. Dry roasted malty finish with some bitterness.
