COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We did this stout with Hunter & Sons and Round Hill Roastery of Bath, England. They brought the coffee. We brewed the beer. A fruity, floral Ethiopian Sidamo Dimtu in a chocolatey, roasty stout. Melikami gīzē!

Opaque colour, small beige head. Coffeish, milk chocolaty aroma. Medium-bodied. Pleasant toasted malty, coffeish, chocolaty flavour with hints of vanilla. Hides ABV very well. Coffee here is well in balance. Good stuff.

Pours completely black, with a fine sheet of mocha head, dissipates rather quickly. Aroma is a combination of roasted barley and coffee. Chocolate and malt. Medium - big body, velvety smooth mouthfeel. Flavour is dominated by fruity coffee, sidamo comes through brilliantly. Lots of dark malts, chocolate, fruity coffee, nutty, bitter-sweet. Sweet, bitter, fruity-coffee finish, a little warming. Fantastic, perfect coffee impy.

hohops (1162) - Kent, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2017
Appearance- inky black, a few foamy bubbles but otherwise no head at all. Aroma- coffee, dark chocolate, liqueur chocolate, tiramisu, boozy fudge cake, dark rum, tar, burnt malts. Taste- rich roast coffee, burnt toast, scorched malt, leather, smoky traces, quite booze-heavy, boozy dark fruits, bitter dark chocolate. Thick and treacly mouthfeel, burnt brown sugar, lengthy roasty finish. But of vanilla comes through as it warms. Very nice indeed.
