Poured from a bottle into a snifter black as sin with little head. cernjoh (188) - Ohio, USA - NOV 8, 2014
Aroma was like sniffing a bag of chocolates.
Flavor is peaty bittersweet cocoa with molasses. Distinctly an imported American Imperial stout-oxymoron??
Thick nice mouthfeel. SerIously love this stout.!!!
Poured from bottle into a snifter. Aroma was of powdered cocoa, very nice. Appearance was black brown allowing no light to pass through it. Had a small tan head that dissipated quickly. Taste compared with aroma was dissapointing. Flavor is dry dark chocolate. It has a strong dark chocolate bitterness to it. Palate was not as viscous as I was expecting and carbonation was weak. Overall it is ok and I’d pass on this in future. Many much better imperial stouts out there. rondphoto (4494) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - NOV 7, 2014
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Opaque dark brown with a good brown head cover, swirls of lace. Taste is woody bitter chocolate syrup that turns sweeter as it moves through the palate, then adds bitter again in a lingering warm finish. Thick and sticky, full bodied, best for sipping. black, clear, brown foam, coffee, chocolate, roasty, heavy cloying sweetness, medium bitterness, full body, oily feel, average carbonation, Tulle (369) - DENMARK - OCT 31, 2014
Kraftig i smagen, en del skum. Behagelig men også kraftig eftersmag.
Let røg og kaffe smag.

Opaque brown black with dark tan lacing with licorice, rich dark chocolate, prunes and coffee on nose. Light carbonation, quite prickly on the tongue, coffee, toasty, mid bodied, cocoa, easy drinking, dry. Fruity and dry in finish.
Julie says it is nice a little bitter hoppy but not a full hop exotic. Julie gives a 3.2

Coffee, chocolate, licorice, nuts and a hint of soy sauce in the aroma. Almost black with a red tint, tan head. Medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter. Full body with a soft carbonation. Overall a really nice Imperial Stout, really rich in flavour, full, creamy body and well hidden alcohol. __Rb81 (791) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 6, 2014

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks DSG. Black and opaque. A little smoky, dry, some sea salt and coffee in the nose, ink, salty and bitter in the mouth. Very silky-velvety mouthfeel, full-bodied, no carbonation.
