Poured from a 500ml bottle. This has the same fishy/oily character that I got in 1/2 idjit. It is in the background but I can still taste it. There is a soft pie cherry brettanomyces note in the aroma. The flavor is thick, oily chocolate, restrained roasted malt character. Sweet finish accentuates the thick viscosity. Not bad. skortila (5793) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - DEC 29, 2013
Bottle, full 33cl sample. The aroma has chocolate, some raisin/prunes. Black coloured, medium lasting, beige head. Taste is on the sweet side, molasses, chocolate, slightly roasted, coffee. Medium-full bodied. Nice if you like your RIS to be more sweet. Beermack (725) - London, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2013
50cl bottle. Black pour, thin tan head. Dried dark fruit on the nose, prune juice, red grapes, chocolate, roasted malt, light cinnamon spice, more vinous notes. Taste is again full of juicy vinous notes, some tobacco smoke, dark chocolate, slightly burnt coffee, prunes and figs, hint of harsh booze. Big bitter roasted malt in the finish, alongside some sweeter fruits and brown sugar. Impressive gear. Tmoney99 (14365) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Bottle. Poured a black color with an average frothy tan head that mostly diminished with good lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted coffee, chocolate and alcohol aroma. Medium to heavy toasted chocolate malt flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet and small alcohol bite finish of moderate to long duration. Full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a solid beer.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with an airy finger thick head. Aroma is burned malts, tobacco, peat, coffee and muscovado. Full creamy body with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet with malts, sweet coffee, muscovado and kandi. Long burned finish with sweet coffee. StoutHead (963) - DENMARK - NOV 29, 2013
On tap. Pours black with a nice brown head. Not much lacing though. Strong aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Taste is very good - of hard roasted malt and coffee, but also chocolate, molasses and a hint of liquorice. Full-ish body and medium carbonation. Very good. Nothing super special but it's solid and precisely what I like. My first Swedish beer (I think) and so far it's very promising. :-)
