Tap @ Beer Temple. Black coloured, with a medium beige head. Nose is roasted malts, lots of coffee, fruits, chocolate. Flavour is roasted malts, a bit metallic, coffee, lots of roastiness. Finish is roasty. caesar (7286) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JAN 18, 2014
Tap @ BeerTemple, small sample. Dark color, short head. Aroma of loads of coffee and roasted malts. Roasty bitterness in taste. Pretty straightforward RIS, bit dry even, mostly powered on roast and some coffee. Could have used some more creaminess, but nonetheless I enjoyed it quite a bit. On tap at Beer Temple. Black colour, dense beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, quite sweet and chocolate-centered. Flavour is medium-sweet, hard roasted malts, milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, decent bitter roasty finish. Medium to full-bodied. Quite sweet, but nice. jmgreenuk (10004) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JAN 11, 2014

Poured from a 500ml bottle. This has the same fishy/oily character that I got in 1/2 idjit. It is in the background but I can still taste it. There is a soft pie cherry brettanomyces note in the aroma. The flavor is thick, oily chocolate, restrained roasted malt character. Sweet finish accentuates the thick viscosity. Not bad. skortila (5987) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - DEC 29, 2013
Bottle, full 33cl sample. The aroma has chocolate, some raisin/prunes. Black coloured, medium lasting, beige head. Taste is on the sweet side, molasses, chocolate, slightly roasted, coffee. Medium-full bodied. Nice if you like your RIS to be more sweet. Beermack (725) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2013
50cl bottle. Black pour, thin tan head. Dried dark fruit on the nose, prune juice, red grapes, chocolate, roasted malt, light cinnamon spice, more vinous notes. Taste is again full of juicy vinous notes, some tobacco smoke, dark chocolate, slightly burnt coffee, prunes and figs, hint of harsh booze. Big bitter roasted malt in the finish, alongside some sweeter fruits and brown sugar. Impressive gear. Tmoney99 (14978) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Bottle. Poured a black color with an average frothy tan head that mostly diminished with good lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted coffee, chocolate and alcohol aroma. Medium to heavy toasted chocolate malt flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet and small alcohol bite finish of moderate to long duration. Full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a solid beer. tmrmwel (2275) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 9, 2013
