COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Dark to almost black colored beer. Beige lasting head. Massive mokka aroma and flavor. Very overwhelming. Some alcohol warming too. Malty bitterness at the end.

On tap at Iron Abbey in Horsham, PA. I am ashamed to admit I had never heard of Dugges before trying this beer, but now I will actively seek them out now because this was an absolute treat. Very strong coffee notes without being overpowering.

Bottled 330ml. -from trade with Nisse666, thanks Thomas. Black coloured, small to medium sized brown head, pure chicory nose. Heavy roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee with notes of licorice in rather roasty finish. Really enjoyable imp. stout.

On tap, Avenue Pub NOLA. very black with tan head, smells like espresso, oily mouthfeel. Lots of coffee and chocolate notes with some licorice. Wonderful beer

Pours totally black with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and hints of liqourice. Taste is moderate sweet leading to a sweet and roasted finish. Really great stuff!

Mild black colour. Smells fantastic - woody, licorice, mild smoke and spirit. Taste is light malt and roast with a strange off-putting finish. Nice, but not one I would return to.

Oooh, another classic that I always wanted to try! Thanks Ogi & Nisse! Poured a dark, daaark brown tinged with amber, almost black. Cascading and lasting but small off white head. Lovely nose, chicory, chocolate and Speculaas. Light light some and tobacco too. Creamy... The taste... whoa, roasty again yet smooth, chicory and tobacco, very light citric notes to help it out, long roasty/chocolatey aftertaste. Very, VERY tasty!

this is a rich malt dark choc bomb which has a lot of savoury complexity about it too... it’s almost confused in itself... good though. could benefit from age maybe
