Black color. Roasted aromas, chocolate, licorice. Taste is pretty much the same but with an added coffee bitterness that lingers on during the finish. Great Imperial Stout!

Drank 02-07 while watching Germany vs Italy. The beer has a rich taste, but is also a bit thin. The taste is there and pleasant, but also not very compelling. Alcohol is very well hidden. Beginning is mainly sweetness, in the end malt, liqorice, mocca.

Dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has dark, roasted malts, some sugar and caramel and a hint of milk chocolate. Taste starts on the sweet side with malt and sugar flavors, middletaste has some spicy notes and the finish is more roasty and bitter, even a bit acidic. Medium to heavy body with medium to low carbonation. Overall its a nice stout, leaning more towards the sweet side. Feels somehow classic.

Bottle. Dark pour with light head. Roasted, chocolate, light oak and vanilla aromas. Flavors are dark malts, oak, roasted, vanilla and chocolate notes. Holding up well, assuming this has a few years on it.

Bottle. Dark brown nearly black body with tan head. Aroma is nice coffee with roasted malts and fruits and hints of chocolate. Taste is also coffee with chocolate and some caramel. Aftertaste is nice balanced by roasted malts bitterness and caramel sweetness. Very nice one.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. BB date 05.03.2015. ABV is 9.5%. Black colour, large beige head. Aroma of roast malts and liquorice. Roasty flavour too, plenty of liquorice, salty and hoppy finish. Nice enough, but not as complex as I hoped for.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2016 Bottle at hopaholic. Black colour, head disappears immediately. Nose of cocoa roasted malts and coffee. Taste is medium bitterrness, light sweetness. Faint smoke, some booze and decent alcoholic warmth. More cocoa in he taste than coffee. Very smooooth mouthfeel. Amazing.
