OMG this beer is incredible. Dark as hell, coffee, cocoa, reglisse, toffee, caramel, liquorice, roasted malts with a soft carbonation. A very complex beer. Good job! 77ships (10844) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAY 6, 2016
Draft glass @ Gollem. Black with a huge dark mocha head. Nose is massive but massive coffee beans, pralines, serious roast, mocha chocolate bars, thick, massive, amazing. Tastes redefines the idea of coffee & chocolate RIS, massive warming pralines, chocolate, massive coffee beans, touch espresso, pure decadence, chocolate syrup, thick rich. Wow this is good & rich, this should be getting mad love. Cybercat (6046) - Georgia, USA - FEB 2, 2012
Rich, smoky aroma has notes of coffee, licorice and molasses with a hint of dark chocolate. It pours a deep, opaque sable just a couple red tomcat whiskers above black and with a fairly thick tan head that leaves some respectable lacing. Mouth-filling smoky flavor has chocolate, coffee, licorice and molasses tones plus hints of caramel, horehound and miso. Firm-bodied texture has a decent amount of fizz and leaves a nice smoky finish that has hints of licorice, molasses and burnt malt. How ’bout them Swedes! Bottle sharing @ Budapest. // Aroma has some strong boozy roast. Taste is first strong and boozy also. Alcohol comes through, is warming and combined with hop kick and roasty bitterness. I am getting also more vanilla and hazelnut in the end. Pyrmir (6201) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2012
330 ml bottle. Thin latte-colored head on a nearly black body. Taste associates with burnt popcorn och saltiness. Taste is complex, well balanced with a nice roasted finish without the harsch burnt notes.

Pours a dark cola color with a small deep tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate, prunes, molasses & heavy roasted malts. Taste is every aspect of dark chocolate you can imagine, mildly sweetened with molasses. The beginning is silky malty chocolate going to a moderately bitter mid palate. The finish comes easy and smooth with a slightly milder chocolate flavor. Honestly one of the more impressive stouts I’ve had and very well balanced. colui72 (1087) - HONG KONG - JUN 13, 2016
Very dark brown, nearly black, with no head. Aroma is roasted malts and coffee. Taste... damn! milk and coffee! roasted malts, caramel, licorice. Medium body, sticky on lips, no carbonation, extremely tasty. Awesome! oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 27, 2010
Bottled. Black colour, smal head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, mild wooden notes as well as some slight vanilla, tobacco and slight roasted notes. Flavour is quite much the same, with the liquorice being the strongest element. Lovely Imperial Stout! madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2010
Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Dense brown head. aroma of roast, coffee, chocolate, vague liqourice, some sweetness and burnt caramel. Flavour of chocolate, liqourice, sweetness, cocoa, roast, spice and light alcohol. Full bodied. Dense roasty bitterness in the end. Delicious. Smells wonderful and good. Tastes good but it feels like something is missing with this beer. Clearly one of the best beers I drank. The aftertaste is good and remains very long. Buy this beer now!
