_angst_ (4802) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 30, 2017
Bottle bought Systembolaget. Creamy black pour with a creamy mocha head. Soft chocolaty espresso coffee nose with hints of dried berries. Sweet, slightly bitter and fruity complex coffee taste. Soft round velvety mouthfeel. Complex dried berry coffee finish. Lovely!

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours pitch black with lasting tan head. Leaves a lot of lacing. Extremely pungent coffee aroma with roasted notes, some sugar and very, very light vanilla. Distinct coffee flavour upfront, that turns into a sweeter creamy, light vanilla and liquorice coffee. Dry, roasted finish. Very nice.

Bottle courtesy of RLGK, shared with Linh and Ken. Pours a deep blackish brown body with soft tan lace. Nose is incredible dense, rich coffee with lots of sugar. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with notes of Vietnamese ice coffee, sweet cream and tons of sugar. The nose on this is incredible, but there’s just a bit too much sweetness to drink more than 4-5 oz in one sitting.

Black color, minimal head. A lot of bitter coffe in the aromas with a sweet hint of chocolate and vanilla. Taste is bitter and a bit off, can’t really put my finger on exactly why. My least favorite ’Johan & Nyström’ collaboration with Dugges.

Kolsvart, kaffe med mjölk färgat skum. Doft: Rostat, kola, mörkt bröd, lakrits, kakao, grillat, mörk kola, bränt socker, söt malt. Smak: Kola, sött rågbröd, lite russin, söt malt, mild söt lakrits, sockerdricka, lite kaffekaramell. Nästan för godisaktig.

ansalon (3841) - Stockholm, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - JUN 19, 2016
Pours intense black with a medium frothy mocha head. Aromas of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt, muscovado sugar, slight berry notes. Taste is roasted and malty with a very nice balance between bitterness and sweetness. Mouthfeel is quite luxurious with a creamy feel yet dry at the same time. Very good!

olsvammel (7220) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JUN 18, 2016
Bottle from Systembolaget. Dark malty smell with coffee. Similar taste, sweet. Thick body. Nice and well made but Ethiopia Walena was better.

Why go for a normal coffee when you can get this! Classy coffee.
Black color with a fine beige top. Dotted lacing. Good intensity in the aroma. Mostly coffee. Full body and a smooth carbonation. Solid bitterness back by a fine mellow sweetness. Not as one dimensional (coffee) as expected. Also some toffee, roast and vanilla. Dangerously well masked alcohol.
[Bottle from Systembolaget web order in Sweden]

TEJA (3056) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 30, 2016
Bottle from systembolaget Sweden. Big and lasting red brown head. Huge dark roasted coffee aroma. Totally coffee dominated taste. Not my cup of tea.

330ml bottle. Pitch black body with a low tan head. A real coffee treat on the nose. The flavor follows the same path, but in a more sweet manner than expected from the dry aroma. Some fruit and chocolate flavors, along with a hint of citrus and fruit. Considering it’s a RIS you’d expect more burnt malt flavors of it but as far as beers go, without considering categories, it’s a good one.
