Pours a fading beige head with a deep golden body. Aromas of grain, tropical fruit, and honey. Flavor is slightly tropical and cotton candy. Finish is not bitter or dry, flavor lasts a bit. Alcohol is hidden well. HonusWagner (2168) - Florida, USA - JUN 23, 2011
A nice ruby red color, aka not an IPA appearance, but it looks pretty. Sweet caramel malt, a modestly hoppy beer (classic citrus west coast hops) that tastes more like a decent amber than a double IPA. Not overwhelmingly impressed by these guys so far. drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - JUN 18, 2011
6/18/11. 16.9oz bottle. Unclear but very cool red pour with a small soapy khaki head that fades completely with little to no lacing. Sweet, fruity aroma with touches of pineapple and bubblegum. Similarly sweet, fruity flavor that leans a bit much towards sweet and cloying. A bit flat/undercarbonated. Eh. burg326 (5479) - Florida, USA - JUN 10, 2011
Thanks to IBrew2or3 for the share. Pours amber with orange and some yeast smell. Flavor wasn’t that great tasted of a soury orange, glad it was a split bottle, I wouldn’t be able to finish the whole bottle. TheBeerGod (6207) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - JUN 9, 2011
Bottle. Copper with a rocky, foamy beige head. Aroma is herbal and floral hops mixed with tropical fruit, caramel and citrus. Taste is spicy and herbal hops, earthy hops, tropical fruit, caramel, cake, sweet malt, and citrus. Body is medium with a soft, creamy carbonation. Finishes with more sweet malt, caramel, herbal hops, floral notes, light citrus and ripe tropical fruit. Different than I expected. Expected more citrus and pine and was pleasantly surprised by something different.

Thanks to IBrew2or3 for the share. Pours clear orange amber with a white head. Nose is orange, some malt, sour orange, and some strange yeast. Flavor is similar- strange syrupy orange/ sour orange quality. Medium-bodied and ok. DialSquare (4967) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 7, 2011
500ml bottle from Liquor Loft. Copper-orange pour with thin bright white head that leaves a ring. Aroma is herbal, caramel, pine and citrus peel. Tastes are butterscotch, apricot, earthy hops, nuts and alcohol. Slick medium palate with little carbonation. Strange stuff this one. A unique DIPA, but not sure I’d need to try it again. kermis (12869) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 4, 2011
Draft at Tre Små Rum. Pours hazy amber with of white head. Sweet and herby aroma, but not very powerful. Seems very lightly hopped without enough bitterness. (Rated 2011/04/16) Dazz3 (1798) - Hallsberg, SWEDEN - JUN 1, 2011
8/10 i mörkhet. Fruktigt humlig i doften. Lent fruktigt och humlig i smaken, Mild humlig eftersmak. vyvvy (6389) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - MAY 29, 2011
Pours hazy amber with a rocky tan head. The aroma has bready/dooghiness with toasty malt and not much in the way of hops. Medium/full body with semi-sharp carbonation. The taste starts off with lots of sweetness and is quite malty with some fruitiness and some dough. The finish has some spiciness that could be from hops. This was a big disappointment. Don’t know if it was the importer or distributor, but this just arrived at the local shop a few days ago & with the way it’s drinking this is very far removed from fresh & has a very high price tag. Or maybe it’s just a double IPA that has little hops... doubtful.
