Aroma: caramel malt, candied piney citrus hops, alcohol, and a bit of minerality.
Taste: piney citrus hops, caramel sweet malt.
Great flavor and balance. Very american west coast character.
Pours a dark amber with a small head. Hoppy aroma. Medium mouthfeel. Sweet fruit with bitter finish a very good double IPA. LinusStick (3497) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 16, 2011
A weird IIPA (from Sweden no less). Aroma was peach, dirty grass and hints of yeast. Very odd. Pour was a nice enough cloudy bright orange with a one finger off white head. Taste was very fruity in the beginning; peach, bubblegum and sugar. Then as the swallow came some cardboard, bitter hops and yeast took over. The mouth was left dry and bitter in the end. Not very much going on to excite the senses. Drinkable. Decent carbonation. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - OCT 23, 2011

Appearance: amber red copper, clear with long lasting lighter beige top. Sparse lace. Good shade. 4-
Body , Flavour , Palate and Final Notes: Vinous , citric hop rock you up front. No compromises. Malty sweetness follows green grape feel. Smooth alcohol followed. Highly refined , white cape of beer. Dugges knows how to brew.
A lot of time theses Scandinavian hoppy beer can have a weird medicinal flavor that I find a little bit off-putting. Not this one, though - It was a nice mix of caramel grasss, toffee, a little smoke, and a lot of citrusy hops. Tasty! thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 1, 2011
(500ml bottle best by Nov 2011 thanks to blutt59) clear copper with fine white ring of bubbles. Nose is floral, potpourri, herbs, caramel and brown sugar. Taste of umami, cracker, pine, orange, some weirdness I can’t identify. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 30, 2011
500mL bottle. Poured garnety-brown with a looser-bubbled beige head. The aroma picked up pineapple, earth, and other citrusy hoppage over maple and caramel sweetness (more maple-focused).. it seemed a bit aged, but it’s dated November 2011. The flavor found maple again at the core, joined by darker bread.. pine resin and citrus bitterness around.. oxidation was apparent on the back and finish.. not all that interesting. Medium-bodied with low carbonation on the palate.. some sourness scattered through it.. again there seemed to be some oxidation.. not a great flow. This was disappointing. jolo (1003) - Uppsala, Sweden, SOUTH AFRICA - SEP 26, 2011
Bottle 50cl (from Jun-10). A clear dark red-amber colour with a small off-white head. An aroma of malt, hops, caramel and citrus. The taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter. A medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation and a long finish.
