Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours reddish brown with a nice head. The aroma is spices, dried fruit and conifer pins. And some dark sugars in the background. Great promising start. The mouthfeel is quite full. Tastebuds are flooded with roasted malts, dark sugars, some sharp bitterness, chocolate and licorice. It’s absolutely lovely! The best beer I’ve had from Dugges. Dugges used to make a bunch of crappy beers in the past. Either my tastebuds have matured or they are making much better beers lately. This one is awesome. Decent aroma with a very good taste. Wonderful taste that may not hanging on too long. But this beer was really good and tasty. This must just try. elosop (454) - SWEDEN - APR 18, 2014
Påskmustbleksvart med lagom skumkrona. Lagom kolsyrad med omedelbar bred maltsmak. Nästan torr, söt eftersmak. Mkt god! Erasmus_ro (3133) - Alabama, USA - JUL 18, 2014
Bottle. Pours an auburn dark brown with a good, dark beige head. Aroma straight off the pour is chocolatey and dark fruity. From the glass, somewhat roasted, nutty, malt bready. Dark malts. Taste is slightly roasted, slightly sweet. Decent chocolate and dark bready maltiness with dark lager fruitiness on the finish. Slightly ashy and smoky, some coffee. Complex, very enjoyable. Medium+ carbonation with a rather full mouthfeel. Superb really.

Bottle @ home. 2012 edition. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Mild clean aromas of dark chocolate, grinded coffee beans , nuts and dark fruits. Medium bodied with medium refreshing carbonation. Taste is one the drier side with some balancing caramel sweetness. Flavors of roasted malt, coffee, nuts, and dark fruits. Aftertaste has a clear dry note of dark chocolate, some cloves, licorice and nuts. Finishes with a balaced earthy bitterness. Really balanced and pleasant to drink. Bottle at home. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing light brown head. Looking black but held against the light I can see that it is actually just very dark red brown. Pleasant roasted malt coffee aroma. Smooth quaffable roasted malt coffee caramel choccolate dried fruit flavor with a mild touch of liquorice. Low carbonation, long sweet finish. Alcohol level just right. Definately not what I had expected. Far better.
