500 ml bottle. Nice apperance, a small dense choco head over a reddish hued, dark brown colored body. Roasted dark malts, licorice, chocolate and crisp hops to the nose. Fairly sweet ashy, roasted dark malts and canned fruits in the flavor. Distinct bitterness, pine, grass and earth. Tones of salty licorice and unripe berries. Healthy body. Malty and fruity finish with a sourish-bitter twist. Ingevara (910) - SWEDEN - DEC 17, 2008
Dark and roasty, an average tinted head. Prunes and hops, smoke, coffee and chocolate in a blessed union but topped up with a little too much alcohol and acid to be perfect. Marsiblursi (3083) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 10, 2008
Bottle and Draught. Pours very dark brown with a light brown head. The aroma is of mild burned, medium roasted and medium caramelly malt with notes liquorice, smoke, rye bread, toffee, dark fudge, caramelized nuts and coffee/chocolate. Sal ammoniac salty on the nose. Herbal and citric hops in the background with hints of lemon, orange and jägermeister. Just a whisper of pine. Maybe some ginger bread and fruity esters. The flavour has that typical Dugge-ish dark beer malt profile of burned and caramelly elements. Soft caramel and chocolate finish. Dark sugar and rye bread. Also a bit herbal and citric. Rowan pomes are also notable. The bottle has some light sourish notes. The draught version is cleaner. The mouthfeel round with a soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. The love: Nice beer. Typical Dugges. The problem: Infected bottle? matador (6) - göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 10, 2008 does not count

Almost black with a brown head. Roasted and sweet aroma with notes of spices, fruit, light smokiness, and some sourness. Taste of roasted/burned malt, spices, coffee, chocolate, berries, licorice, a bit too acidic/sourish. Maybe a bit infected? pilsnerrogge (3024) - Finspång, SWEDEN - DEC 7, 2008
