_angst_ (4802) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 12, 2016
Draught @ Beefeater. Pours pretty much clear golden with a small frothy offwhite head that leaves some sparse lacing in the glass while dissipating. Smell is subtle, slightly malty and slightly floral with bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, moist grass, dried flowers, orange zest, lemon zest and hints of honey. Taste is slightly sweet, tiny bitter, slightly malty, slightly floral and tiny fruity. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter with bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, moist grass, honey, dried flowers, minerals and lemon zest. Not your classical US IPA but quite enjoyable.

jookos (6789) - FINLAND - NOV 16, 2014
[email protected] beefeater inn. Copper light hazy. Oranges, malty caramels, some herby hops. Med bodied, med bittered. Some yeastyness, old leafy notes. Feels a bit dull boring. The yeasty vibes arent good either.

Keg at the Beefeater Inn, Goteborg, 21/03/14. Hazed orange amber with a good sized off white head. Nose is pale malts, light orange, straw, caramel, bread dough. Taste comprises much the same, bitter citric notes, straw, bready, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so affair, more akin to an ESB than an IPA.
