Bottle from a bottle swap, thanks Hopmaestro!Habanero (4798) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - JUL 10, 2017
Pretty clear aroma of coffee and hops. Taste is mildly bitter and full of coffee and chocolate. Some hop style bitterness. Medium low body
Bottled. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, licorice, citrus notes and somewhat peppery. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry and slightly bitter. Medium , oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Impy. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cunningham (8279) - Halden, NORWAY - APR 28, 2017
I hoped for a more prominent hop profile. But this one was so good anyway, that it do not matter.jamestulloch (4272) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 24, 2017
Coal black stuff with a huge brown head! Solid lacing. Looks great. Good intensity in the aorma. Lots of chocolate. Full body and silk smooth creamy texture. Chocolate, espresso, some wood and fruity flavor. Lovely evening sipper.
[Bottle from Systembolaget in Sweden]
Bottle from Bottle Baron. Black body with a thick tan head. Good lacing. Aroma of plum, prunes, coffee and furniture polish. Flavour of peppery spice, green pepper and liquorice. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. There’s lots going on in this. It’s more like an Imperial Black IPA than an Imperial Stout. mzaar (3595) - Varberg, SWEDEN - JAN 21, 2017
Flaska. Svart med ett beigt skum. Dofter av kaffe, trä, citrus och lakrits. Smakinslag av kaffe, rostad malt, choklad och lakrits. Fyllig kropp. Oljig munkänsla. Mycket bra.

Keg Third of a Pint at The Bottle Shop, Bermondsey, London in Aug 2016 - Opaque Black in colour. Slight tan head. Some lacing. Very Malty; roasty malts, coffee, liquorice, chocolate, caramel, vanilla. Hoppy; good hop bitterness, piney resinous hops. Fruity; citrus fruit. Rich and very smooth. Good malt/hop balance; think Impy Stout meets BIPA. Moderately bitter roast malty hoppy throughout. Good Impy Stout! (2016-08-27)

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours practically black, with limited cappuccino foam. Aroma has chocolate, toffee, roasted malt, light coffee. Body is medium-dense, no significant stickiness. Taste has intense sweetness, but also quite some bitterness, plus some enjoyable carbonation. Finish is not long, but bitterness sticks around for some time. fackbesokare (100) - - DEC 27, 2016
