Lecker!

Bottle. Teku. Nice stout full of cocoa, car male, vanilla, slightly ashy with some dark fruits in the background. Moderate coffee notes, slightly astringent. ABV is well hidden, good brew.

Backlog, ocena przepisana z untappd, w ramach uzupełniania profilu na ratebeer. Połączenie które kocham w imperialnych stoutach i porterach: czekolada i wanilia! Mega fajne, kremowe ciało.

gyllenbock (9328) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 12, 2017
Bottle from Beergium, bought in January 2017. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, some cocoa and light caramel. Similar taste, also ash and oak. Well hidden alcohol in this one. Kind of smooth to drink.

September 2016 - Bottle share at Leighton’s, as ’Dugges Vanilla Oak’. Many thanks to Leighton for sharing this. Opaque black with a foamy brown head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee, also delivering the vanilla and woody vibes promised. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is chocolate syrup, vanilla, sweetened coffee, woody finish. It’s very sweet, and initially I thought it was too much. But it is a grower. A rich sipper of a dessert beer. (3.8)

Leighton’s flat clearance. Thanks to Leighton. Opaque dark brown - black beer, decent tan head. Palate is airy, fairly dry and has decent carbonation. Fair bit of dark chocolate and vanilla. Light dry coffee, earthy. Trace of dark fruits. Vanilla dark chocolate finish. Not bad.

nihtila (3670) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 22, 2016
Bottle at Project six ways event in Ushers. Almost black, dark brown head. Nose is huge vanilla, oak, sweet, dark chocolate. Taste is vanilla and oak dominated, roast and chocolate, some dark fruits. Very good but Im maybe not the biggest fan of excessive vanilla.

Lonick (2213) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 14, 2016
Bottle @ Ushers, Edinburgh. Project 6 Ways tasting. Pours black, slight red tinge, very thin beige head. Nose is huge chocolate both white and milk and a big vanilla edge to it as well. Taste is vanilla, some wood, lemon, slight burnt notes some whisky alcohol burn at the end.
