Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 2, 2010
Bottle from Stockholm, drunk with tashi, 1st April 2010. Slightly hazy mid amber. Nose of maple and wood. Initial touch on the tongue is a bit metallic but the main taste kicks in immediately and the American hops leads to a bitter yet biscuity taste - woody, whisky-like. A special, different taste - I really like this and wish I had more to sample. roosm (5) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - FEB 7, 2010 does not count
We tried a bottled Dugge’s Spring Beer. Dark amber and cloudy appearance. Surprisingly light foam (compared to the usual Dugges) even though still heavy for being a lager. A strong taste of hops (for being a lager, though not close to other Dugges). Very refreshing, citrus tasting lager, but of course again on the heavy side for being a lager. Overall a very nice lager. Though I was disappointed since I was hoping for an even heavier more hoppy beer this was a really nice heavy tasting lager.
If you want to try a nice Dugges I would rather recommend an Avenyn Ale or a 1/2 Idjit. Maybe a nice Bollox! Cheers! Nisse666 (7301) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 7, 2010

A slight bit hazy deep golden color with copper streaks. Fairly big and lasting rocky cream colored head. When cool/cold and just opened the citrussy hops and some alcohol is rather evident in the scent. Though with some breathing and warmer the nose changes towards diacetyl/butterscotch and to more earthier floral hops. Also the alcohol touch dissapear. Taste is hoppy, bitter and almost astringent at first, this also mellows a bit with temperature and with breathing. Turns more fresh, yeasty, earthy, butterscotch. Much more enjoyable in both scent and taste when a bit "warmer" and also when it has had the chance to breathe a bit. A tad bit sugary as well. Medium to moussy mouthfeel. Dryish medium high bitterness. Had it been better when cool and newly open I’d given it higher scores. Still I rather enjoy it.
Bottle (50 cl) at the brewery. Shady deep golden, medium white head. Bready malt aroma with grassy and floral hops. Light bodied, soft carbonation. Dry with a slightly rough bitterness.

Bottled. Pours out in a dark golden colour with a small bubbly white foam. Grassy and floral hops in the aroma with fruity hints of nectarines. Medium-bodied with notes of white bread, grass, flowers and nectarines. Medium-bitter finish of grass. andersand (529) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 2, 2010
Hazy copper colour with a dense white had that leaves neat lazings on the glass. Aroma is sweet and somewhat herbal with notes of red fruit, grass and minerals. Flavour is full of minerals, bread, light fruit and grass. Mouthfeel is fairly full for a lager with nice natural carbonation. Ends on a bready, slightly bitter note with lingering fruity sweetness. omhper (24959) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 7, 2010
Bottled. Hazy amber, rich creamy head. Strong hoppy nose with hay, melon and strawberry. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. The malt has pleasant buttery tones. Medium bitterness. A good beer with plenty of interesting flavours. The somewhat clean, hard mouthfeel reduces the drinkability a little. This is a style of beer that I really like - and this beer has come a long way in the right direction. screwball (1099) - Motala, SWEDEN - MAR 30, 2010
500ml bottle from Systembolaget. Lot´s of cola and butter in aroma. Also some toffee. Pleasent amout of bitter citrus apricot hops. De bitternes is moderat. malmlov (11) - Norrköping, SWEDEN - APR 24, 2010
Bottled. Amber color. Fruity. A really nice beer. Perhaps a bit oily in a good way.
