COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It might sound like an echo, but it’s not. This collaboration with Stillwater Artisanal explores the true depth of Mango flavor. Three layers of taste and aroma from fruit and hops. Go Mango! If you’re going to put fruit in a beer, there’s no better fruit to use then mango. At least that’s what Magnus here at Dugges Bryggeri says. So, when there was time for another Dugges x Stillwater Artisanal collaboration, Magnus posed the idea of a mango beer to Brian of Stillwater. Turns out, Brian had the same idea about mango and beer as Magnus. So, we set out to do a mango solo! To make it a sour was a no-brainer. We’ve got nothing but love for our sour collaborations so far, and we wanted to continue exploring that. Said and done, with mango flavor from two types of mango fruit and from mosaic hops we did it. Mango, mango, mango!

Bottle, 20 months before bbd. Pours hazy, pale yellow, with a small creamy head. Aroma is tropical notes of mangoes and passion fruit, with fruit peel and lactic acid. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is tart, with lactic acid and tropical notes of citrus, apricots and mangoes. Straightforward and one dimensional.

330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with light head. Aromas of funky melons and stones fruit and definite Mosaic hops plus wheat malts. Flavours of nectarine and melons on soft wheat malts. Slightly salty. Easy to drink. Quite brilliant.

Fra fat på Mi2 Cardinal, okt-17: lett uklar lys korngul med fint skum som varer. Mango, mango og mango - men heldigvis i en maltkropp som bærer dette slik at det ikke ender opp som frokostjuice. Kanskje litt mer bitterhet kunne gjort balansen enda bedre?

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 30.10.17. Hazy pale yellow. White head. Fine aroma and taste of acidity and mangoes. Very quaffable. Dry and astringent.

On tap at Cardinal. Pours light hazy weak golden with a small white head. Aroma of fresh mango. Taste is sweet, bordering cloying, fruity mango, too much for me.
