COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tropic Punch Ale is a joint effort with nomadic brewer Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal. We brewed this sour ale with lactobacillus and let it ferment with plentiful mango, passion fruit and peach. Sweet!

Nice sour punch. Definitly peach and mango present. Maybe a little too much juice falvors for me, almost like it was abrewed as a blend.

4/2/2016 -- from backlog notes: Very nice, big tropical fruity flavor. Moderate sourness, moderate-plus sweet. On-point. A sour with a huge amount of tropical fruit flavor. Impressive with the level of fruit delivered. Reminds me of Gushers. Nice for a small sample, but probably too sweet for more.

A small white creamy head that recedes quickly. Hazy/juicy, orange-gold color with some specs of sediment. No lace. Smells of fruit punch, peach, mango and tropical qualities. Light body, tart and refreshing. Taste is fruit punch, peach, passionfruit, salt, mango and Lacto sour. Love the passion fruit, mango and peach combo. It’s like a true fruit punch. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampler at Of love and regret. Pours yellow with a white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Nice tropical fruit, salt, and tart notes on the nose and tongue. Finished clean. Very quaffable.

bottle. Hazy golden with one finger head. Tart, lots of passion fruit, peach and other tropical flavors. Lemon sour. Doesn't really have much in the way of complexity, but this is quite delicious.

Bottle from Merchants. Aroma is very sweet and juicy, peach, mango, passion fruit, slight tart and slight wheat, mostly just a juice bomb. Appearance is golden, hazy, off white head that disappeared quick. Taste is sour, passion fruit, peach, mango, sugary, some wheat, extremely crushable yet puckering. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, tart fruit punch and slight wheat aftertaste. Overall, I was not expecting this level of sour on the taste based on the aroma, but this beer is quite good.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Cloudy dark yellow with aroma of mango and peach. Tangy fruit taste and mildly sour finish.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 7/7/2019. Pours moderately hazy deep golden yellow/light orange color with a small dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge juicy peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon, lime, green apple, fruit skin, white wine, wheat, cracker, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, tropical fruit, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon, lime, green apple, fruit skin, white wine, wheat, cracker, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness and fruit tang on the finish. lingering notes of juicy peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon, lime, green apple, fruit skin, white wine, wheat, cracker, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, tropical fruit, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/sourness balance, and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tart/sourness and fruit tang. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, moderately grainy/acidic, and tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an amazing fruited sour ale! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, tropical fruit, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly lactic/tangy/drying finish. Perfectly balanced juicy fruits and Lacto complexity; with just enough malts to balance acidity. A highly enjoyable offering.

Pretty good stuff and very much like tropical punch flavors that have been soured but in a good way. It’s not the kind of beer you want to drink a lot of but it’s nice for one period good aroma, nothing special to look at.
