Draft. A hazy red-orange beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet spicy and hoppy. The flavor is sweet and very spicy - very Belgian in the spice choice, but also with notes of juniper and bog myrtle, and a strong note of hops (not very Belgian), leading to a dry and fruity end. The body is thin.

Draught at Delirium Caf, Gothenburg. Nice appearance, dark amber and a quickly vanishing head. Aroma full of spicy and herbal hops. Flavor and mouthfeel quite dissapointing, thin with no malt character and too dominating hops. The least good Dugges I have had so far.

Miksu (5046) - Jyvskyl, FINLAND - NOV 23, 2006
Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2006. Deep amber color with dense creamy head. The aroma is spicy an parfumy with pepper and cumin. The flavor is also spicy with overpovering cloviness and notes of woody and bitter spiciness. Flat mouthfeel. Too hefty spiciness.

Smells excitingly like Cantillon from a distance. Obviously doesnt taste like it, but pretty good compromise as an interesting beer that you could drink all night.

[Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival] Clear amber, creamy head. Aroma of butter, caramel and grass. Plenty of malt, De Koninck style with evident Belgian yeast character and a wealth of grassy hops. Medium bodied, slender and drinkable with some hay-like bitterness.

duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 27, 2006
[email protected], Gteborg. Lightly citrusy and flowery aroma. pLate is quite clean, yet has a definite yeasty quality, Belgian yeast. Cirus and flowery yeast again in the flavour. It was clean though, probably a little too clean for a Belgian ale.
