This beer is a collaboration with our friends at Wiper and True. They wanted to do a Swedish version of their piney amber ale. Together we decided to ramp it up. In every way. Take a walk in the pines!

Bottle from Systembolaget. Hoppy smell with pine, but not hoppy pine, like they actually used pine in this. Similar taste. Not sure if the pine works. Boozy smell and taste. Strong bitterness.

Slightly earthy, biscuits, grapefruit and pine. Hazy golden colour, medium creamy white head, lacing. Big bite, mid-sweet, pine and grapefruit, some a bit Weird green flavours towards the end. Medium body, average carbonation, bitter and warming finish. Enjoyable.

Keg at the Hoplocker, 17/03/17. Golden amber with a big old light beige covering. Nose is a little subdued for a DIPA, cantaloupe melon, orange pith, light pine, bread dough. Taste ramps up a little comprising orange pith, floral notes, sweet Um Bongo Jus, light herbal spice tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light dank hop bitterness. Adequate for style but not up with the best in show.

Amber towards orange, fizzy with lots of debris. Medium big head. Smells heavy citrus and pine. Caramel and notes of pineapple. Taste is dominantely sweet and a little sour with rather low bitterness, lots of citrus and pine and then something im not really sure about that resembles soil and compost/mold/spruce - probably an accident. Virtually no alcohol taste. Medium to low body.

Disig gyllengul öl med ett vitt äggviteskum. I doften dominerar verkligen tallbarren.

Sista delen gick i slasken.

At Linköping Beer Expo 2017. Hazy dark golden with a small white head. Fresh with hops, citrus, mango, light malt and some toffee. The body was medium as was the bitterness.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, straw, caramel, and pine needles. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, caramel, alcohol, and pine needles, leading to a bitter finish.

Draught at Pitcher’s Linköping. Hazy light orange liquid with medium white head. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, mango, grain, light bread and fresh hops. Taste is dry and medium to high bitter with notes of citrus, grain, tangerine, mango and bread. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Quite nice, maybe a bit weirdly astringent.
