COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This robust bock beer is the beer for lengthening evenings. The roasted and smoked malt varieties used give this beer its striking aroma and colour while the fragrant hop varieties and subtle touches of wood provide the beer fullness and depth. This strong beer can be enjoyed on its own but also combines well with beautiful stews.

I was actually a bit dissapointed by this beer. The smokeyness is really light, I hoped for more. Its also a bit watery. Still a decent beer though.

Not overly sweet good smokey beer. Aroma is subtle but the taste is great. Smoke, some sweetness. Some bitterness. Medium bodied, low carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Thanks a bunch Benzai. It pours very dark amber with a dense beige head. The aroma has awesome malty and smoked notes. Great balance here. The flavor is medium sweet and has a mild Bamberg smoked tasting note to it. Not overwhelming but well balanced. Notes of chocolate caramel. Sweet malty finish. Very good!

Bottle by my Secret Santa MrHangover. Thanks! Aroma raisins, dried fruits, caramel. Clear brown colour. Taste has got quite intense alcohol right from beginning. Then there is smoked ham and caramels.not bad but simply too much alcohol, it ruins the drinkability for me as well.

Bruinrode kleur, flinke kraag die lang blijft. Aroma van rook, mout, bbq. Smaakt melig bbq, rook mout? Best ok, mocht van mij iets heftiger zijn, beetje vlak. Niet te koud drinken in ieder geval. Sander bedankt!

In Brand glass, pours are a vert nice dark red-brown with a nice coloured ample head. Smells like smoked meat. Tastes very sweet with interesting aroma’s of meat/bacon smoked on oak wood with a long oily finish. Very smoky and quite delicious.

This is quite smoky, almost peat-like in taste. Also a bit sweet with a hint of caramel.
