Cask-conditioned at the Beer Emporium, Bristol 12/3/2014. Copper coloured with a slight, off-white head. A malty bitter with a touch of caramel and hedgerow hops, followed by a decent, bitter finish. Good.

Light unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, earthy, mint - minerals. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, nutty, caramel, minerals. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. 
On cask at Three Tuns, Dronfield - Red body, white head. Looks okay. Aroma is burnt caramel, a bit of fruit in there too. Taste was robustly fruity with a dry finish. Okay, but very similar to Hobgoblin by Wychwood. imdownthepub (14557) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2013
