Cask. Aroma of prunes and licorice. Pours black to dark brown with tan top. Tastes roasted malt, dried fruit, and cough syrup. Nevertheless easy drinking with very little languor. I would have it again

Cask conditioned at The Alehouse, Reading, Berks. Black with tan head. There is an odd liquorice and prune note to this from the start, heavy on the palate, bitter. Just okay really.
