Dark lager with a fine and yet significant coffee flavour (coffee extract added). Very popular especially among our female clients.

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2015 Tap at the brewery. Dark brown colour, lightly to ruby. Aroma coffee all the way, roasted. Taste a very little bit watery, then strong coffee. Lower body. I cannot imagine drinking this, and dealing with the redundant water, when by the taste the customer clearly wants to go for espresso. Other than that - acceptable. 6 4 5 2 11. Rerate at RJ. Resembling tiramisu in taste AND flavour. Heavily artificial. Also ice creamy diacetyl. 4 3 4 1 8

From tap at the brewpub. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and with a heavy bitter coffee finish.

Tap at Pivovarský Dům sample glas 3 of 8: Dark brown colored brew with an sweet bitter taste. Hints of chocolate, coffee and faintly roasted malts. Tip for the brewery put this one as last in the sample tray.

Föredrar nog kaffe i lite tyngre öl, porter och stouts.

Keg at the Brewpub in Prague Day 4 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 2/10/14. Dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Aroma big coffee cake, sweet kamp coffee, amaretto biscuit. Flavour is composed of sweet kamp coffee, earthy note, roast, quite sweet. Quite artifical. Palate is smooth, medium body, sweet. Pretty good.

keg at brewpub 15/10/14
decent bitter roast coffee supplements the lager sweetness, probably best of the bunch.

Ascelja (1484) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 30, 2014
Tap; Aroma of sweet coffee, roasted, caramel, malt. Taste sour at first, in middle bitter with hidden sweet, sour again, aftertaste long and bitter. Intensive coffee in flavor, malt, caramel, any hop. Full body and smooth, soft carbonation.
Overall - unusual experience, I like it.

Rotin (1491) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 30, 2014
On tap. Aroma of coffee or maybe cappuccino, caramel, little malty, no hop. Dark, deep brown color, hazy. Soft carbonation. Strong flavor of coffee, little tart, little sweet, bitter. Aftertaste is bitter, but sweet, grainy. Full bodied. Interesting experience.
