Had on draft at Pivovarsky Dum on 6/28. Extremely interesting taste. one of the most unique beers I’ve ever had. Strong nose of pine, with with other notes of spice and light malts. Taste is similar.

Tap @ Pivovarský Dum, Prague.
Pours clear, pale, leaf-green with a small white or light green head that soon disappears. Aroma is peppery, herbal, nettle and spinach - and it tickles my nostrils. A bit lidt mouthfeel, but okay. Flavour is actually quite nice, lots of grass, pine, spinach and nettle. The pwppery herbal feel is used pretty well. Long, staying, dry and spicy aftertaste. I like.

Draught at the brewpub. Wierd moss-like green colour. Sticky and agressive nettle aroma. Quite dry.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden green with a lacing green head. Soapy and spiced aroma. Flavour is soapy and mild spiced towards herbal. Again dry and no what so ever sweetness left.

sample at brew pub ... Apple green (but you can see the pic to left)... odd but nice herbal nose ... touch of cabbage ... not unplesent ...light hop ... and what i have to assume is nettles .interesting enough

(Draught) Pours green. The aroma is of nettles, medicine, some subtle spicy/herbal notes and summer meadow. Tiny apple-ish fruity. Flavour of nettles and grass. Almost vegetable. Light sweet and a bit dry. Medium bodied.

Draught. Absinthe green colour, with small greenish white head. Aroma is nettle, grass and mildly some herbal notes. Flavour is very mcuh the same. A rather interesting try, but I wouldn’t necessarily want more than I had of it.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2008 Draught @ the brewpub. Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Somewhat pale lime green color. Fair display of lacework. This was somewhat strange with the use of Nettle as the main ingredients. Aroma was mild spicy or pepper like, with notes of bitter hops and floral like feel. Also it felt like cold tee as one point in the tasting of the beer. Light bodied with an average carbonation and mild dry texture. Light bitter flavor with a hint of sweetness. Spicy hoppy and Nettle like finish. Quite interesting but not particular tasty for a beer.

Draught at Pivovarsky Dum. Green colour. Minty aroma. Herby flavour which hovers around nettle without ever settling firmly. Like a water down herb liquor. Grassy. Mildly bitter and antiseptic. The most interesting and successful of the flavours.

Draught at Pivorvarsky Dum. Silky mouthfeel with lots of nettles, herbs and spicey notes. Much better than I thought it would be...
