(sampleglass at pivovarsky dum, Praha) A completely black beer with little foam. the aroma is very roasted and a bit sour. The taste has alot of roasted flavours and almost no sweetness. the palate is fitting and a bit dry. Aftertaste is as expected from a roasted beer.

(6/24/08) Draught at the brewpub in Prague. Black-colored with a brown head. Nice aroma of coffee, heavily roasted malt and some cocoa notes. Sweetish roasty flavor with coffee, caramel hints, maybe some faint fruitiness and later some roasty bitterness. Medium-bodied. A very nice Stout.

Svesse (8464) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 2, 2008
(Draught at Pivovarsky Dum, Prague, 19 July 2008) Black colour with frothy, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, dark chocolate and a hint of citrussy hops. Roasted, malty taste with lots of coffee, dark bitter chocolate and a nice citussy cocoa bitterness in the finish. Fairly thin body, but dry, clean and fresh. I could drink this all evening. Lovely stuff!
